The interior is really cute and aesthetic, kind of like a dimly lit outdoor Paris cafe vibe. Overall, a solid spot that works for pretty much any group. I’d definitely come back.
The burger was average at best with very little flavor. Fries were fine, nothing special. My order did come out quickly, but the staff at the register weren’t particularly friendly or welcoming.
Would I return? No. The value just isn’t there. For the same money (or less), you’re better off at Five Guys, where the food is consistently flavorful and filling.
Huge foodie here and this place was AWESOME. We came up to Rosemont for a concert with a totally different restaurant in mind and someone told us ” no don’t go there, checkout, small cheval” so ofcourse were going to listen to the locals and we checkout small cheval. We were all glad we did. I got a double cheeseburger, fries, and a root beer float. Make sure you get the truffle white cheddar sauce. It was AMAZING for your fries ! The ambiance, the people, customer service, food everything was top notch. Its hard to believe this is a chain, which I only just learned when looking it up to leave a review. Being a chef myself and an avid travel, this little spot is a must stop. Inside and outside total eye catcher :0) I wish I took more pictures of the food but I was enjoying myself too much.

Location is nice, whether you want to sit inside or on the patio. Quick service and clean facilities.
I recommend the boozy milkshake; I did chocolate and whiskey.
I ordered the signature double cheeseburger with bacon, garlic aioli, and the standard condiments, plus a side of crispy fries and a Mexican Coke. Overall, the burger was solid—not quite the best I’ve ever had, but still very enjoyable.
After a couple of bites, I ended up removing the extra onions and even took off the bacon. Surprisingly, I liked it much better that way—the simpler flavor came through more clearly. A bit of a burger purist move, I know, but sometimes less is more. That said, the quality of the ingredients was good, and I’d give the burger a solid 4 out of 5.
The fries were a standout—crispy and golden, just how I like them. I especially appreciated the smaller, crunchier pieces. And of course, you can’t go wrong with a cold Mexican Coke to wash it all down.
The atmosphere inside was bright, clean, and welcoming. The staff, from cashiers to servers, were friendly and helpful, which added to the positive experience.
Would I go back? Definitely. Just maybe hold the bacon next time.
