We enjoy Chikfila when we travel. I don’t eat gluten dairy or eggs so I always get grilled chicken and hash browns. They were super busy so I didn’t want to bug them, but maybe next time I’ll order two grilled chicken servings. Unless this is the “diet size” or something… totally appreciate Chikfila overall for clean bathrooms and polite people.

I’m giving the Chick-fil-A in Princeton, West Virginia, a 2 out of 5 stars. As a huge fan of Chick-fil-A, this was unfortunately the worst experience I’ve had at any Chick-fil-A location so far.

Atmosphere: 3/5
Located just off Interstate 77 in southern West Virginia, close to the Virginia-West Virginia border, this restaurant was very busy around lunchtime, which is to be expected. Although the dining area appeared clean and well-maintained, it was crowded and felt chaotic. There were available tables, but the atmosphere was uncomfortably busy, prompting me to eat in my car instead.

Service: 2/5
Service was the biggest disappointment during this visit. I placed my order through the mobile app, planning for convenience, yet after the app indicated my order was ready, I still had to wait nearly 25 minutes at the crowded pickup area inside. When my order was finally called, it was incomplete. After pointing this out to the employee, she ignored me and walked away, leading to another five-minute wait to get someone else’s attention to complete my order. Another customer near me also expressed frustration after waiting over 40 minutes for his mobile order, which was placed while he was still in Virginia. The inefficiency was surprising and disappointing for Chick-fil-A’s typically stellar service standards.

Food: 2/5
The spicy chicken sandwich combo, usually a personal favorite, was unfortunately just average on this visit. While the sandwich itself was edible, the waffle fries were overly salted to the point of being inedible. The salt was literally pasted onto the fries, making them absolutely disgusting and unenjoyable. This significantly contributed to the overall disappointment.

Overall Thoughts:
This visit was highly disappointing, and while I understand it may have been an unusually bad day, the lack of preparation and poor customer service was concerning. Hopefully, this location can resolve its efficiency issues soon.

I was the bus driver for a basketball team. We came in and they handled us with the upmost care. Drive thru was packed and we packed the lobby. Didn’t wait long. I heard they were down 5 people but they nailed it. The names I remember were Maddie, and two other name Mason. That crew was an all star team and did not let the pressure get to them.

Food is always good but of all CFA locations I have visited, the service here is not up to CFA standard. Today stood for a bit waiting for a refill as several employees walked by and then stood and talked. Eventually had to loop back in line. Still friendly and better than most fast food places but not what I am used to from this chain.

I’m very disappointed to have to rate this CFA 2/5 stars. Probably the worst one I’ve been to. Their service, food quality, and rest room cleanliness has been declining rapidly for a few months. I really hope they see this and address the issues. I’ve even had Beckley people tell me of their poor experiences with this CFA to the point that they don’t frequent it anymore. I believe I may follow suit. My last two side salads I’ve ordered had nothing but lettuce and a few bacon bits. Definitely not worth the price. Plus the drive-thru is slower than McDonald’s. That’s saying something.

Chick Fil A is known for its efficiency. They’ve mastered the drive-through system, getting massive crowds of cars in and out in no time and putting other fast food chains to shame.

…And then there’s this particular Chick Fil A. I think they missed the memo on all the above. Painfully slow and inefficient. No ability to handle busyness at all. I’ve been in a line (one that would be normal in any other location I’ve visited) for thirty minutes or better and only just now even placed an order. No clue how much longer I’ll be here. They have no mobile-thru line, no workers outside taking orders down the line, none of the usual Chick Fil A drive through magic.

Nice Chik-fil-A. We stopped on our way through on a road trip and were not disappointed. The food was hot and quick and ordering was also expedient. We were back on the road quickly and with the yum of chicken sandwiches and waffle fries filling our bellies.

The food is usually good, but there’s always something that leaves me dissatisfied when i go here. I keep giving it a chance but it’s always something. Out of something I order, the employees don’t seem very in tune with the modifications to entrees, or I’ll have to park and walk back in to get condiments or sugar packets. I love Chick Fil-A but this location is not up to par with other locations.

This Chick-fil-A falls well short of the high expectation Chick-fil-A has earned.

I visited the drive through and found it was being operated like any other fast food drive through: pull up to the speaker and order, then cars are served one at a time through the window, aka SLOW. None of the typical measures taken at Chick-fil-A to speed the drive through process were in place like team members outside taking orders and payments or team members outside distributing orders to remove cars from the line quicker.

When I finally got my meal the fries were cold, the lemonade had been mixed incorrectly (it was far too weak compared to normal), and there was no spoon for my ice cream cup.

If you think you’re going to spin through the drive through for a quick meal and get the fast, accurate, high quality experience Chick-fil-A is known for, think again.
