As someone who lives on the road, I often seek out great coffee shops and unique restaurants.
Tonight it was hankering for a steak and so I stopped in. I was promptly greeted by Amanda, and seated at a table of my choosing.
Fresh-baked bread with butter and also a homemade concoction of honey butter was brought to me. That was very delicious. Also a small dish of olives and celery and carrots with ranch was brought.
Then, if that wasn’t enough, Amanda came and took my drink order while I looked at the menu.
I was in the mood for a rib-eye steak, and my order was put in. Ribeye steak, cooked rare. Drinks were brought out, and shortly thereafter my steak was brought out and it was perfectly rare. I have a mantra that says “the redder the better.” Believe me, my steak was perfect. I also had sweet potato fries and steamed broccoli.
Everything was cooked to the level of perfection that I would have done at home. I highly recommend this steakhouse, and we’ll stop here again the next time I come through town.

As a truck driver, stumbling upon a good steakhouse with seafood is a treat. However, I was shocked at the prices! Everything was $10-30 more than I would expect to spend. I ordered a burger off the kids menu simply because I was hungry and a bit insulted at the prices. If I’m going to put out $60+ for dinner for one . . . It needs to be outstanding. Based on the reviews I didn’t want to risk it.
You can tell this place had a “heyday” at some point but now it’s falling into disrepair. . . The weeds are overgrown, the railing on the front steps is downright dangerous and the chairs are doctor waiting room quality. . .

My husband and I chose the Log Inn for my birthday dinner because of their reviews and their menu choices.
I opted for the halibut, with a baked potato and a side salad. I chose blue cheese dressing, which was too strong. I forgot to ask if it was in house or from a bottle. My halibut was perfectly cooked and moist. I also love that they bring out a small serving tray with all the makings for a loaded potato without charging you for a loaded potato.
My husband got the catfish dinner with sweet potato fries and clam chowder. Everything was really good.
The atmosphere was nice, table clothes, cloth napkins and older music. My husband enjoyed the older songs that his family used to have on old 8 tracts. Lol the music is not overwhelming which makes it easy to carry on a conversation.
Our waitress was great, too.

Service was friendly and fast. The food was good but it wasn’t the best prime rib I’ve ever had. It seemed pretty mid tier quality. But hey maybe next time I’ll try the Ribeye. I did overall enjoy my visit. This is a great little restaurant! :Update the lady that owns this is a grumpy, rude disrespectful business owner that should learn how to be pleasant. Her attitude alone keeps me away.

Services is always amazing! The food is like eating at sizzlers it’s a complete joke for the price. Every time I order the oysters there is sand in them. Thought it was a fluke the first time and the second but the third time still so much sand. No no no just no. They try really hard to be “fancy” but they miss the mark and bullseye directly into 1985 used to be “fancy” steakhouse. But most of the locals love it who are of the baby boomer generation so that makes complete sense.

Very few restaurants produce so many of the “Best Meals of (Year)” instances. This is one of them. Friendly staff. Ridiculously delicious steak. Highly attentive on all fronts.
Went on Oct 18th and Nov 26th- and both times the owner came out and spoke to me briefly. Ya gotta love that. Whenever I’m in Wyoming- this is a must-eat location. 5-star staff. 5-star food. 5-star owner.

Food was great but I showed up at 8pm on a Saturday night and they close at 9pm. Never have I sat at a bar and felt so rushed to get out the door. I had a prime rib sandwich and 2 bud lights and it wasn’t like I wanted to leave, they just made it obvious I had to because they are closed Sunday and apparently cleaning up at 9pm on a Saturday night is hard to do.
Maybe they had to shut down for their KKK meeting, I don’t know. It was awkward.

Found them by chance because I-80 was closed at Rock Springs WY. Wasn’t really hungry, but I figured I’d check them out. Their beer batter asparagus and mushrooms are delicious but are a little difficult if you don’t have teeth. I look forward to stopping in again, and I’m bringing my appetite next time.

Nice people, but WAY over priced for the area, the average menue price is 40$ an item, Definitely not worth 40$+ or the right location for a resteraunt like this. The quality of food is more a long the lines of a solid 3 star steakhouse, again not worth 40$ not even worth 20$ honestly. Its behind the truck stop and this part of wyoming is in the middle of nowhere population 700 (literally). Its usually empty.
