This a cool little joint, it definitely has that mom n pop vib, staff was very friendly! I originally went for breakfast, but one I wasn’t paying attention to the time and two I assumed breakfast ended at 11 am, but it ended at 10:30 am. But, my waitress suggest I try their breakfast burger, and man, it was amazing! It had everything! Hamburger, sausage, bacon, egg, cheese and even hash browns! Definitely gotta stop again and explore some other options on their menu!

I was passing through and I decided to stop in and try it. I was very pleased on my decision to stop as they had one of my more favorite dishes the “beef commercial”. I would like to stop again, only a bit early to try their breakfast. Especially after enjoying the lunch so much and I’m sure I can expect a delicious one at that. Thank you.

I had an unexpected overnight stay in Benson, MN and went for breakfast to the Whistle Stop Diner. I enjoyed my visit and my meal. Very friendly atmosphere, prices are good, and those pancakes ARE indeed big.

It’s an absolutely beautiful little dinner. Rustic atmosphere and the staff is always super friendly. And the food is fantastic. You get a good amount of food for the price. Eat at the Whistle Stop and you’ll leave satisfied in more than one way…..a full stomach and happy taste buds, and a feel of connection with the community.
