Maruthi Foods is one of those rare places that instantly reminds you of home. Every time I visit, I’m impressed by how consistently fresh, authentic, and comforting their food tastes. One of my absolute favorites here is the tomato bajji – perfectly crisp outside, soft inside, and packed with that homemade flavor you just can’t find everywhere. I love it so much that it has become my regular must-order item. What makes this place even more special is the variety of unique, traditional curries they offer. It’s not easy to find items like Kanda/Suran curry and Jackfruit curry in the U.S., but Maruthi Foods brings these authentic Andhra-style flavors with so much care. Each curry tastes like something straight from a festive meal back home, full of spices, aroma, and nostalgia.Their sweets section is another highlight. From freshly prepared laddu, bobbatlu/puran poli, and boondi laddu to soft soan papadi, everything tastes incredibly fresh. You can tell these sweets are made with quality ingredients and traditional techniques. Just seeing their sweet counter brings back memories of Indian festivals and family gatherings.
Overall, Maruthi Foods is more than just a place to grab a snack it’s a taste of home. Whether you’re craving hot bajjis, authentic curries, or fresh sweets, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend for anyone who loves true, homemade-style Indian food!

I visited an Indian sweet shop, and the sweets tasted really good—fresh and authentic! However, the prices are a bit on the higher side, so I’m giving it 4 stars. Still, it’s a nice place to enjoy quality Indian sweets once in a while.

We ordered Kova Karsikaya on Tuesday. The taste was okay, but it seemed like you only gave the outer shell without enough filling inside the Karsikaya. Is that how it is supposed to be?

The samosas were also similar — very little potato filling, more outer covering, and they were slightly burnt.

This is not first time..

Great place for Indian sweets. Good variety and sweets made fresh daily!!( laddu, kaja, bobbatlu, pootharekalu etc)
Good customer service and clean store!
Special mention: try samosas (onion) & Mirchi bajji daily from 5pm- 7pm.
They also have daily menu for vegetarian curries
from 11AM-6PM and you can join their Watsapp group to reserve curries.
They have pickles, South Indian style chutney powders, and some organic millet biscuits.
Strongly recommend!!

They are charging $8 for four samosas and filling is very little. Usually, one order we will get two samosas, but here they give four with very little filling and charge much more.

Went there to get sweets despite of previous bad experience. Bought 4 pieces for $2 each, which are super expensive. And the lady sneaked in half a piece as one. It didn’t matter anyway as all 4 ended up in the trash. They were stale and bad oil is showing up in taste and smell. Stuff from here belongs in the trash, not in tummies.

I usually don’t post reviews but with this experience I could not resist. I was under impression Maruthi foods gives high priority for quality & of course that justifies their high cost. This happened on Dec 21 I had to travel out of town to visit family and friends. I ordered 6 lbs of Jilebee and was told to wait till 12 pm as I needed fresh Jilebees. When I picked my order, to my surprise all that was packed was a day old Jilebees and all of the boxes had a soggy Jilebees, when I called the store they were nice to offer a free replacement. Looks like they ran out of fresh Jilebees and they still packed some boxes of soggy & stale Jilebees. The guy went inside and came out while I was not sure if they were packing fresh or stale ones again. It’s sad to see Maruthi compromised and fooling customers in such a way. If you ran out of fresh ones you should have been honest & not compromise. Even though I was traveling out of town I did wait till 12 pm hoping I will get fresh Jilebees. Cumming area got plenty of options so be aware you are not the only one. If you fool customers like this you will soon loose many loyal customers.

After spending close to $100, I asked for a small sample of one sweet and was told no. That response felt rude and unwelcoming. Customer service here needs serious improvement. No respect.

Love their Jaggery Jelebi!
Best in Metro Atlanta area and although though other stores are also selling Jaggery Jelebi, they are no match to Maruthi Foods!
Also the good thing is Jaggery Jelebi are sugar free 😉
