Taco Nazo® was started in 1978 by Ensenada natives, Maria and Gilberto Romero. They wanted to bring the authentic, fresh taste of Ensenada cuisine to the people of California. Taco Nazo’s authentic Mexican cuisine and delectable Ensenada-style seafood are the ideal way to give your visitors a taste of Baja while also relaxing. For any occasion, we offer platters for pick-up or full catering services. People go from all over the world to visit the Romero family’s five various places.

a chained taco shop serving pretty delicious tacos. ordered their famous fish tacos and a ceviche. fish is freshly fried with a light batter, not greasy and good portions, pretty delicious. as for the crevice i was hoping there will be a bit more fish than octopus.

We were driving through to Whittier and needed to grab a quick bite. Taco Nazo was a pleasant find. Very close to freeway, we ordered and the food was served quickly and the server, Christian, was very helpful.
We tried a variety of tacos. Al Pastor and chicken were my favorites. Since it’s outdoor seating and right next to the road, it can get a bit noisy. The food is very authentic and even say a free range chicken roaming around. Two thumbs up.

I’ve been coming to Taconazo for over 20 years, and it has never disappointed. The consistency, the flavor, and the quality are unmatched. Hands down, they have the best fish tacos in Southern California — crispy, fresh, and full of flavor every single time.
It’s rare to find a spot that stays this good for this long. Taconazo is a true gem, and I’ll keep coming back for the next 20 years and beyond!

Best Fish tacos I’ve had. Only thing is that the seating situation is not great. The seats are bolted down, therefore cannot move the chairs/ tables. Its in a sketchy area. But service overall was great, they do cost at 9pm. But I can see why because of the area.

This mariscos spot never disappoints! The ceviche is some of my favorite anywhere—always fresh and full of flavor. The seafood tacos are just as good, especially the shrimp tacos, which are always amazing. Definitely a go-to when I’m craving great seafood.

This is the La Puente branch of Taco Nazo. It’s just off 605 highway and very convenient since it is counter service only. No fuss, you order and take a seat; they bring your plate to your table. Fish taco and Al pastor taco were extremely good. Fish was still warm and goes well either way the slivers of cold cabbage. Al pastor had the taste of chili oil cooked over the heat. This location is a bit small but service was quick so probably not too much wait except during peak times.

Heard good things about this place from friends at work. Decided to make the 45 minute drive to see for myself. Happy I did. The fish tacos were excellent and so we’re the shrimp. I prefer the fish over the shrimp though. Got a large mixed ceviché and man it was packed. Delicious as well. Definitely worth a try!

I went in and didn’t see what I needed for my dietary needs. I asked for exactly what I wanted and got exactly what I asked for. It might have been a dollar and change more, but worth it. A great dining experience for me. I was so happy, I took a picture of my meal. Since I’m not a culinary photographer I’m not going to post it. But I enjoyed it enough to want a photograph.

I usually order a pack of 8 tacos. 4 fish and 4 shrimp. This place never disappoint me. Food was tasty and I devoured those tacos. The only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars was because the fish seems getting smaller compared to last times I’ve been here and prices went up too..I mean inflation, can’t blame them
