I have not tried every menudo served in Fresno. But this is the best one I have tried. Very flavorful broth and a nice assortment of tripe chunks. During the week they only serve the red menudo with chile, not the plain menudo. It is not very spicy. The aguas we tried (horchata, tamarindo, and jamaica) were excellent. Generous portions and nice and tangy the way we like them. We also tried the flautas, but they were a bit overcooked. Excellent homemade corn and flour tortillas. Good salsa. Yum!

Best Menudo I’ve had in years. Came in right after they opened at 8. Ordered 2 coffees and 2 large menudos and both came out in under 5 minutes. Big portions and the menudo came out very hot. Super yummy food❤️

My second time here and both times the menudo is excellent. This really is a good place to grab a delicious bowl of menudo. Many come close but I haven’t had menudo any better than at La Placita. I had the red menudo but I see there is a white menudo. I will need to try that next time.

This was the best Mexican food I have had for many years. The potions were large and the price was reasonable. The group I ate with were the only non-Hispanics in the place. That says something for the quality of the food. The handmade flour tortillas were melt in your mouth goodness. Can’t wait for the opportunity to go back.

The menudo is the only good thing on the menu and only on the weekends. During the week all their food is old. The beans and rice sit for days and always taste burnt & old.

The food is best on Thursday’s! Usually great customer service, only this last time we went it wasn’t the same lady always there and the new lady lacked customer service skills! Food is delicious, sopes are awesome, homemade corn tortillas, and not expensive.
