Phenomenal all the way around. The food was delicious and service very good. I got the spaghetti alla nerano with salmon (made vegan). The presentation of the dish was beautiful. It is on the pricier side, but great place to visit for special treat. They offer gluten free pasta and notate the food allergens on their menu.my husband got the Petto di pollo all parmigiana which was good !

I had a great experience here with colleagues! We all shared plates and didn’t have a bad bite to eat – standouts for me were the shrimp app and the ravioli. The wine (pictured) was incredible, too. Super nice staff and an unpretentious, fun vibe. I definitely recommend a visit!

Not every white tablecloth restaurant has white tablecloth food or service. It doesn’t matter whether you eat lunch or dinner, both are excellent ( lunch is without the white tablecloth but with the same food and service quality).

Dinner tonight was terrific. Lamb tenderloin, perfectly cooked with potato cubes drenched with a sauce. The combo is so good it has you reaching for the last piece of grilled bread in the linen lined wicker just to sop up the sauce that hadn’t been consumed with the potatoes.

Our server, Erin, was appropriately conversational and made this comfortable but exceptional meal a reminder that we’d been away too long. Café Lily continues to lead with its apps, mains, pasta and dessert and remains in our opinions one of the metro’s top dining destinations.

Food tastes average, but our waitress was outstanding. This restaurant is not a good option for birthdays. Celebrated my daughter’s birthday here and was allowed to bring in a small cake. Restaurant manager charged each member of my party a $3 fee for not ordering dessert from their menu. First and last time visiting this eatery.

All mediocre at best- Placed in the back room, the so-called bread basket was staled bread and crumbs. Main dish was served barely warm. In summary: way below expectations, wannabe gourmet/sophisticated food, falls rather short on all accounts. There are quite a few better options in Decatur. Certainly our first and last time at this place.

My wife and I love this Decatur restaurant. We have been going here for years. The food is fantastic and the staff is so very friendly and attentive. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone. We feel fortunate to have this restaurant close by and in the heart of the Decatur.

It’s been at least 10 years since I’ve been to Café Lily…shame on me. I don’t remember having a better meal anywhere in downtown Decatur. The risotto was cooked perfectly, infused with perfectly seared scallop essence. The calamari presentation was wonderful, continuing to cook on a sear plate at the table. Tuna was a perfect medium/medium rare, and the crab cake, while a bit small, was one of the best I’ve ever had.

NO WIFI.
The food was bad to mediocre. I got the chicken parm, the pasta was under seasoned the chicken luke warm. Staff was nice. Probably the lamest thing was the employees telling me “I don’t even have access to that.” When asking for the WiFi password…. lame. It says “Cafe Lily Guest” on the WiFi List. Who is the guest network for then?

This was my 2nd time visiting Cafe Lily and the service was great per usual! The food was top-tier!! Sooo worth it and beautiful atmosphere! Also they have a nice wine and cocktail menu that very well pairs with all the dishes.

We have been coming to Cafe Lily for about two years, and we have always loved it. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, our recent anniversary dinner fell short of expectations.

I usually order a half-portion of their pasta, which in the past has included 6–7 ravioli. This time, however, there were only four. I also added the grilled shrimp, which are typically prawn-sized, but instead we received just four medium shrimp for $12. Lastly, although the menu states that the first basket of bread is complimentary, none was brought to our table.

I understand that prices have gone up; however, the dining expense felt hard to justify given the portion sizes we received, especially compared to our previous experiences here.

I’m not sure if this dinner was just a miss with their portion sizes or if there have been some changes, but even with this experience, Cafe Lily is still one of our favorite spots for celebrating special occasions.
