Pizza and burrata are great. Try the simple flavors and enjoy the taste of the burrata over the pizza margherita with prosciutto (unfortunately not from Parma… but still good). Prices are high but the quality is very good.

The appetizers were quite tasty, but the noodles were just average. For this price, you can definitely find something better elsewhere.

✨ Taste of Italy without the flight! ✈️
Their food stole my heart with their Napoli-styke pizza and artisanal pasta.

I’ve been coming to Eataly for years and this last time I was so disappointed with the food. The prices have risen significantly and the quality dropped. Ordered the Suppli as an appetizer and it tasted like unseasoned old fried rice. No seasoning, no flavor. It was supposed to have truffle butter but there was no hint of it. Also no hint of cheese. 3 small fried rice balls for $16, ridiculous! Also not served with any marinara, I had to ask for some because it wasn’t edible on its own.Hope they improve their food! Everything used to be so good!

Sorry here is the truth. Nothing impressed me here. Been 2 times. You sit like in the middle of the railway station. Not cozy at all.
Pasta is just ok, calamari were fresh but tasteless. Asked 3 times for pepper, got it on the 4th time. Tequila shots served in highballs…hm. No salt no lime…hm. Everything is mediocre except pizza: yes pizza os one of the best in Boston and east coast( not including New Haven). And yes it’s overpriced.

Recently went here for Restaurant Fest and had a 2 course meal for $22. The Antipastis (photo included) were good and well worth it. Their cocktail, Apricot Bourbon Smash is good!
Was not able to take photos of our entrees (both pastas) but it was not really anything to rave about. The Tagliatelle Bolognese was bland, needed some salt and the Bucatini Fava e Pancetta was ok w the cream sauce solidifying fast. It felt like you can have better pasta at home.

We were skeptical at first, but chose this place over our other option because it had more vegetarian dishes. We were not disappointed. Both the pizza and the pasta were delicious. And, the atmosphere is amazing. Not really sure why the avg is 3.8 here. It’s much better than that.

We bought some cheese few days ago. They gave us it in two packages , both reporting expiration dates April 17. Yesterday it was March 28 and we opened the two packages. One of them showed some signs of mold, the other one was 40% mold covered. Because they are within expiration date ( another 16 days untill “expiration date”) we returned them to the store. We discovered they are not refundable due to their policy as the two packages had been unwrapped. Of course, you cannot see the mold if you do not unwrap them as they are wrapped in paper that doesn’t allow to see through it. They tried even to say that their fridges are better than customers’ fridges (even though we have best Whirpool branded and well functioning fridge). It is worth saying that whatever grocery stores usually make changes or refund when this happens. What is then the meaning of this review?
It is simple, as they do not refund . Because their common packaging in the store may help produce the mold we found , their packaging doesn’t fit the expiration dates they report.
So, in the future, we will have to buy very small amounts of our preferred cheese. You may even consider the idea of eating such cheese when you are still in the store if average customers’ fridges are not reliable (which is laughable of course ).
We are trashing ours and it is sad because they were not cheap. Unfortunately, due to such “policy” of the store, our money was sent on a one way trip . Good to know !
(If their expiration dates are not guaranteed by their packaging they may either report earlier expirations or consult experts to improve their packaging materials and procedures )

La Piazza at Eataly is a great spot you can just grab a drink and some light bites or more – no reservation needed! We loved stopping by for a glass of wine and some olives on a Saturday afternoon. Lovely friendly service!

Our cousin in Providence told us that La Pizza e La Pasta in Eataly is her favorite pasta restaurant in all of Boston so we had to check it out. It’s located in a market hall/mall so the atmosphere is ok but nothing special. They work with what they have. The service was also ok but nothing special. However, the pasta was FANTASTIC!!! We had the Pappardelle al Ragu di Funghi and the Agnolotti al Tartufo Nero. Wow. Yes, they were on the pricey side: $26 and $29, respectively. However, they were so delicious we may try to go again in the next few weeks. We also discovered a new white wine that we had never heard of that we LOVE. We are so glad we came here.
