Me and my wife are here last night on Valentine’s Day primarily because it is one of the few restaurants open after 11. The waitress, Liliana, was terrific and super sweet. Because she was so nice we didn’t complain about the awful food or send it back to have it redone like we normally would have. We skipped the appetizer, although the nacho appetizer sounded good we weren’t willing to drop $20 on nachos. I ordered the 9 oz. sirloin and added the shrimp for a surf and turf. I had fries and a side salad with ranch. My wife ordered the double stacker burger with loaded fries and a side salad with ranch. My steak I ordered medium. When it came my steak was rare, maybe even more than rare, more like raw. It’s hard to mess up fries and salad. The shrimp came with tomatoes and green onions on them which I did not care for at all. They seemed to smother things in green onions to make it fancy but personally I would like it better without them. My wife’s loaded fries were also covered in the green onions as well as some cheese and bacon. Her double stacker burger turned out to be a quadruple patty bones classic burger. She was highly disappointed as she was looking forward to having a good double burger topped with pulled pork and crispy onions which is what the double stacker burger was. She decided not to complain and keep the quad patty burger. However the burger patties tasted like they were thawed out processed patties that hadn’t been cooked more than a minute. The meat had a soft, cool off-putting taste. She wasn’t able to eat more than a few bites and took the rest to go. She enjoyed her loaded fries after removing most of the green onions and side salad. We ordered the banana pudding to go but were disappointed that it just tasted like mashed up bananas and neither of us found any cookies in it. My wife regrets not complaining and sending our food back to try to get it done right as we paid $80 to be disappointed in everything but the fries and salads. The sweet teas were decent too but $83 is a lot to pay for what we enjoyed of the meal.

The staff and atmosphere was really nice and welcoming, but my meal was altogether a bit disappointing. I ordered the Texas brisket platter, with slaw and fries. I felt that for $30, I could’ve gotten more brisket, which was a bit dry and lacking in flavor. The slaw was flavorless, neither vinegary or sweet just a bit bland. Fries were good but so are most fries. Altogether I felt like it didn’t have much soul. I will say that a silver lining was that my fiancé enjoyed her bbq pulled pork Mac and cheese, which I agree was delicious.

If you, yes you, interested in a spot with a good variety of food (accommodating most dietary needs), plenty of space between tables to maneuver, with some activities on site (pool tables, darts), then check out Smokey Bones! This is like the family friendly restaurant with good food, smart selection of beverages, and CLEAN BATHROOMS! Their kitchen is open later than most sit down restaurants in the area, which is a major plus when you are with friends.
Now, the STAR of our visit was our waitress, Simone! What a hoot! She was kind and offered good recommendations, and was great to encounter! She mentioned their weekly specials – which, I am going to have to come back and try!
10/10 best personality of a wait staff member in YEARS!

We had a great time as a family. Wednesday night is Kid’s night and our son ate free. The ribs are fall off the bone good! The cornbread was simple, but the pecan butter really makes it!
A nice change of pace from a weeknight sit-down dinner.

Great spot for BBQ and fire-grilled food! I enjoyed the house-smoked meats and casual atmosphere. The service was friendly and the menu had plenty of tasty options. Definitely a solid choice for a relaxed lunch or dinner with friends or family.

Went in to grab a bite while the kids were in the movies and grabbed a bar seat to watch the ball game. This is the second time I’ve been and enjoyed both times. Their bar top happy hour of bbq nachoes and margaritas were delicious and the staff was extremely friendly. Would recommend and will go back.

Wonderful place to eat. My husband and I was in TN for the weekend, we asked one of the locals where the best place to eat was and Smokey bones was recommended. So this is where we went to eat on valentines day. They had a variety of food to choose from. Our food was perfect, our waitress was so sweet, she made sure not just for us but made sure all her tables was taken care of. My husband nor I have any complaints. We would most definitely go again.

BBQ spot with wings, ribs, burgers, steak etc. Food is decent. Went for lunch got a pulled chicken bowl salad. You can pick 4 toppings and choose a dressing. Drink was kept topped off and they put some in a cup to go. Playing oldies and These Eyes by Guess Who was playing.
