The pizza was really good the pepperoni had a nice taste to it. The pizza was a little greasy. I still put it up they’re worth one of the best tasting pizzas I’ve eaten. Customer service was good. Small place so there’s not a lot of room to sit down. Free Parking can be a little tricks but they’re is a paid lot across the street.

Great pizza to stop in and grab. New York style and classic Portland spot – right across the street from Powell’s downtown on 10th and Burnside. . Excellent service last night, I’ve seen an increase in cordiality by the cashiers recently and am impressed. The party deals are a must if you want more than one slice. Not a lot of room to sit inside- more of a grab and go place- but we always seem to find a place to sit. Nice to sit outside on a nice evening.

Nice chill downtown vibe. Friendly staff. Killer pizza. Great prices. Hefty salad. This was the PERFECT place to take my daughter for our dad/daughter Portland adventure. We bought some books at Powell’s, then headed right over to Sizzle. My new favorite downtown lunch place. Oh, they had beer too (but I didn’t have one).

The service here is why i ranked them so low, the good was decent and a decent value but nothing to rave about. Btw do not put in a to go order they will screw it up. We ordered the turtle pie as part of the family meal, and asked for no onions which they still put on. They also have an estimateded time which is when we showed up to pick up our food but it took another 20 minutes to get out food. So in total it took an hour from order to pick up. As for the food, the pizza was ok but not worth the price, the crust was bland but the toppings were plentiful. The garlic knots are a waste, they are small and lack any real flavor, the tomato paste that comes with them was so plan it seemed like it was just plain tomato paste. Besides the salad being covered in onions it was ok.

Good slices. Terrible atmosphere. The slices and sauce are good. Bit it kind of feels like you’re eating a leftover slice.

The place is dirty and looks like it cleaned once a day. By a staff that could care less about being there. But hey that could be Portland.

$5.50 for a slice maybe pass unless you’re into it.

Walked in alittle after 11pm and it closes at 12am, packed, waited in line to order, get to the front no knots or full pies, u can get only slices. Cashier was alittle rude when asking for beer or knots. I was excited to get the sweater but woth that service is didnt want it no more.
By 1140pm they were refusing people from coming in, as soon as we lefted they shut the doors at 1151pm. Me I worked in food service for years this was unacceptable. But I can say the slices were bomb.

The menu is small but the taste and the quality of their food is anything but small. These folks have seriously good pizza. It doesn’t stop there. They also have a Jones Soda soda fountain. It just doesn’t get much better than that. It’s a little confusing when you first go in because the line takes you to the counter where you see the pies that are available to buy by the slice but you don’t actually order there. Keep moving. Go past the pies and order further down.

My partner and I each got a slice of pizza and split a large salad. The salad was served on a 12 inch pizza pan. It was fresh, it was massive and it was delicious!

Very reasonably priced and well worth the trip.

We had four different delicious pizza slices and some cold beers at Sizzle Pie. They have some very unique and tasty selections. They also played some old-school punk and alternative music. I gave a low rating on the atmosphere because the dining area was barren, but I would definitely eat there again.

If you are from the East Coast, especially New Jersey, this is your place. It’s as close to Jersey shore pizza as I’ve even been able to get on this coast.

All they sell are pizza and salads, but that’s what I wanted.

Across the street from Powells in a fairly decent part of the city.
