Very busy during valentines day. Atmosphere was nice, cocktail was nice. And bread was absolutely amazing. Food that was ordered was two filet migons (1-6oz, 1-12oz), one lobster tail, lobster mac and cheese, and garlic mashed potatoes. Overall, not worth it even a little bit. My filet migon came out room temperature (very disappointing after getting our food over an hour after order was put in). The whole top half of the lobster mac and cheese was very hard. After mixing it, the pasta became a little more soft but for $25 it was not worth it. The mashed potatoes were “chunky” but not on purpose as half the dish was under cooked. Im talking, the potatoes were so hard that i couldnt mash them with my fork. They originally brought my wife out a different steak than she ordered, but they quickly replaced it and hers was nice and hot, but mine sat a maybe 2-3 minutes longer getting even colder as i wasnt going to begin eating without my wife. Overall for our total bill, after tip being almost $300 this place is totally not worth it. Theres a couple more steakhouses in the area or even worth driving downtown and paying ridiculous parking fees that are better than this place. You live and you learn I guess.

Sullivan’s is a fantastic steakhouse. The food and service is absolutely wonderful! I highly recommend the 16oz ribeye, wedge salad, and key lime pie.

We had an excellent time at Sullivan’s thanks to our awesome waiter Courtland. He was VERY helpful with our menu questions & extremely thorough when walking us through the menu. We don’t usually eat at steakhouses, so we had a lot to ask. He made us feel completely at home & helped us pick exactly what we were looking for. We loved the decor and my cocktail (strawberry cucumber) was delicious.
The charbroiled oysters were my favorite part. Thank you to Courtland!!

It was a truly disappointing Valentine’s Day dinner. We were early for our reservation & decided to have a drink at the bar while we waited. We sat for 20 min before even being acknowledged. The majority of the wait staff was extremely unprofessional with their conversations and even mocking customers to the point that we could hear it all. Once we were seated we were halfway through our appetizers before our bottle of wine arrived. Our meal took 2 hours to come out & when it came out my steak was a hockey puck instead of medium rare. Our waitress had no etiquette or professionalism. The manager was so overwhelmed I felt bad for him putting out fires all night. He explained that they’re were many new hires and he was very apologetic. I understand that holidays can be overwhelming with reservations and the kitchen can run behind but my issue was more of the service than anything. 100% will not be returning and do not recommend anybody to spend their money at this establishment. There are so many better options for steak houses in Indianapolis.

This was our first time. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary. Our waitress, Keegan, was amazing! She explained everything and answered all our questions with ease. Service was quick and efficient. The food was delicious. Definitely going to put this restaurant in our date night rotation. ❤️

I was in town for a while and wanted a great meal… I placed an online order for Sullivan’s Rack of Lamb (med-well), Asparagus, Salad, and Key Lime Pie to go because I didn’t have proper attire with me. My order was ready when I arrived. I checked my bag when I returned to my vehicle and items were missing. The lady at the front desk did not give me the entire order. Went back inside, showed the receipt, she retrieved the remaining items. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! The lamb was more red than I would have wanted but it was still great. The Asparagus was covered with garlic and parmesan – amazingly good. The salad was great. I didn’t care for the sauce that came with the pie but the Key Lime pie was delicious as well. Great meal!

A friend gave me two gift certificates to Sullivan’s Steakhouse—and I’m sure grateful. Sullivan’s offers an elegant fine dining experience, complete with low lighting, live music, and all the attention to detail you’d want for a special night out.
The menu features excellent options—steaks, seafood, pastas—all beautifully prepared. In classic steakhouse fashion, you order your entrée and share sides. Everything we had was cooked to perfection. The staff struck the perfect balance: friendly and attentive, without hovering.
Sullivan’s is an excellent choice when you’re looking to make the evening memorable.

Absolutely awful experience! Never going back! Had a reservation for Valentine’s Day & left after 3 hours of not being served. Even though we had a reservation, we weren’t seated for a 1/2 hour. Then the waiter was MIA pretty much the entire dining experience. Took almost an hour to get our salad & apps. One of the salads was incorrect & took an additional 1/2 hour to replace. Sat and watched as every other table around us (seated after we arrived) was served dinner, while we waited, and waited, and waited. After 2.5 hours and still no waiter or main entree, we flagged another waitress asking for the manager. Again we waited for 15+ minutes. Asked 2 other wait staff for a manager. While we waited for the manager, our food finally came out, but one of the entrees and both sides were missing. Steak and lobster were both burnt and ice cold!! After receiving the remaining food, ALL the food was stone cold. We had $350 worth of destroyed food. Manager FINALLY graces us with his presence & seem to be completely unaware of what has happened at our table. We filled him in on the details and stated we weren’t going to eat the awful food & just wanted to leave without paying for the horrible experience. He agreed & asked if we wanted to take our gross burnt, cold food to go. We said “NO.” He then apologized for our experience & asked for my husband’s name, email & phone number to have corporate email us a $150 gift card to return later for a better experience. We obliged. And – no surprise – it is 2 weeks later & (*surprise*) no gift card has been emailed to us. Side note: we heard numerous other tables around us complaining about the poor quality of food & apparently we discovered that a table of 4 near us did a “dine and dash” because they were so unhappy with their experience!!! Don’t waste your time or money on Sullivan’s. There are many other much much better steak restaurants (like Ruth’s Chris) that will be worth the expensive bill!

We had a lovely time for our 17 year anniversary. Our server Henry was fantastic. He treated us so well and explained the great food pairings. Great service without hovering. We both went with the absolutely delicious filet mignon Oscar style. Thanks for treating us so well!!
