If you are sports fan then this is a great spot for you. They have TV’s everywhere, even in the bathrooms. Service was great. Server was knowledgeable of the menu and attentive. Steak was cooked to perfection. My wife’s baked potato was like warm at best. It didn’t even melt the butter or cheese. Besides that, everything tasted great. Save room for the brownie.

Arrived at 1:30 pm on a Friday. No wait on being seated. Within, two minutes we were greeted by the server. Taken to a nice seating area. Our drink order was taken. Arrived at the table in three minutes. Wow! Alauna, was our assigned Server. One of the best Servers I’ve encountered in months. She was on task. Quick, efficient, alert to our inquiry of the menu. Knowledgeable. Has a “welcoming” interaction in her conversations. Very fast, and efficient of her time.

As a Louisville realtor I’m always looking for restaurants. I can confidently recommend to clients moving to the area. Aspen Creek Grill is one of my favorites!! The food is consistently delicious, portions are generous, servers and staff are fantastic and the menu has something for everyone from delicious steaks and ribs to fresh salads, and comfort food. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and family friendly, which makes it a great spot whether you’re grabbing a quick dinner or celebrating something special. Don’t forget to grab a house made margarita on the rocks if you’re a drinker!! The service is always attentive and the location here in Louisville makes it convenient for both locals and out-of-town guest. I love supporting restaurants like Aspen Creek Grill because they represent the best of what Louisville has to offer. Highly recommend!!!!!

this was the best steak dinner me and my girlfriend has ever had , the steak was juicy and cooked to perfection. The best mac n cheese and rice i’ve ever had also. Our waitress was so nice to us and she checked on us at least 10 times and she was very busy with other tables. for 2 people we waited 20 minutes for a table on a Saturday night and they was really busy. Our total was $70 including an aspen-tizer (appetizer). We will be back and definitely recommend going to this restaurant!

We had a Saturday night dinner out with friends at Aspen Creek and while parts of the evening were enjoyable, the overall experience left us feeling uncomfortable and disappointed due to management issues. Our server, Alexis, was fantastic from start to finish. She was attentive and friendly. The food itself was flavorful, and well-prepared. The atmosphere was nice for a group date. Alexis kept things running smoothly and made us feel genuinely welcome.
Unfortunately, two incidents involving the manager, Carla, turned what could have been a great night into an awkward one.
First, we ordered a drink that’s standardly served without alcohol. We asked to add vodka, which we happily paid for as a shot. When it arrived, it tasted completely alcohol-free-we couldn’t detect any vodka at all. We politely mentioned this to our server, and Carla came over to insist that it did have alcohol and that we just couldn’t taste it.
There was no offer to remake it or check further. instead, it just felt defensive. We weren’t upset about paying for the alcohol, we just wanted a drink that met our taste expectations . A simple “I’m sorry, let me make you a fresh one” would have resolved it instantly and kept the vibe positive. As it stood, it felt like poor service and put a damper on things early.
Later, my husband cut his thumb on a chipped glass mug while drinking from it. He calmly told Alexis so she could pull it from service and grab some napkins. There was no drama, we just wanted to prevent anyone else from getting the mug. Carla came back again, filled out an incident report , but offered no apology for the defective glassware. She did offer a free dessert, which we appreciated as a gesture but didn’t really want or need. We weren’t looking for comps, we just wanted basic courtesy and to feel heard. The lack of a simple “I’m so sorry that happened” or “How can I make this better” made the interaction feel cold and procedural. Alexis remained wonderful throughout and tried to keep things light, which we truly appreciated. Carla’s defensive approach and absence of any real apology made the meal feel tense and awkward. When customers feel like they can’t honestly say they don’t like something without it turning uncomfortable, that’s a real problem. It discourages openness and can ruin what should be a fun night.
We love supporting local spots and will probably give it another try someday because of Alexis and the food, but management needs to focus on empathy and genuine service recovery. A little warmth goes a long way.

We went to this place for the first time, it’s a great place. The crew was welcoming. The steak wasn’t good (too dry). However, the wings, mushrooms and other sides were delicious.

We ordered the Honey Sriracha Sticky Ribs, they were delicious and had a nice kick. The green salad and onion rings were also very good. Highly recommend.

This was my first visit here and doubt that I’ll be back again, there’s just so many other places in this area to try, our experience was as is: frozen drinks were horrible, had to take several of them back for remakes, food was just okay at best, Cheddar’s is better in every respect and I eat there a lot. The atmosphere and seating arrangement remind me of a Cheddar’s. Our server was nice and friendly, but just not attentive; water glasses stayed empty, plates needed to be cleared, had to ask for to-go boxes more than once… This is just a lack of good training and good management, never once saw or heard from a manager, nobody walking the floor checking on tables or anything….

I have been here several times and I think most people know they will get good food and great service. The setting is similar to Texas Roadhouse but you won’t get any free bread. Overall it’s always a good experience just a little crowded most days.

Went to the Aspen for the first time with my wife. From elizabethtown originally but wanted something different. Food was great. Got the 160z ribeye cooked medium. Wife got the sirloin. Unfortunately the steak came out ultra rare. Sent it back and enjoyed the sides. Sides were great! Steak came back from the kitchen perfectly medium which was a relief as normally at Longhorn or road house it comes back as leather. Not here. I used the bathroom and came back and the manager left a free appetizer card for the inconvenience. Blows my mind. In Etown they can wreck the entire order and drop the check and never return. No manager. No apology for a crap evening etc. Here? Perfection! My wife said we found our new steakhouse so look forward to coming back. Also, I got a dozen purple hearts so I prefer limited conversation with strangers and they nailed it. Realized im an ass hat and engaged my wife. Perfection
