I totally lovedthis place. They have the most delicious flavors of ice cream. I’ve been on a low key vaca in this area for 5 days and I’ve visited this joint three times already you’d think I’m not eating anything else.
If you are in the area, passing thru and just cruising by, Im sure if you drop in and sample anything and try walking out with norhing…you couldn’t
I’m sure I’ll be back to Kaleidoscoops for more tasty bites. Sorry I ate my other two cups before remembering to photograph them.

They have good ice cream. The last two times they unapologetically messed up my order, with wrong toppings and small serving size. They also charge more than their advertised price. Check your receipt. Hope they figure things out have been coming here for years every weekend.

Super sweet lady working the counter making ice cream cakes between customers. Her late husband and her opened a Baskin-Robins in 1977. Corporate had since taken the name and they rebuilt and reopened under their own name. She now works post retirement and her son owns the store. The waffle cone I enjoyed was excellent. I even noticed a low fat / no sugar butter pecan ice cream but I didn’t get a taste(I forgot). They had 3 cases of ice cream & sherbert flavors to choose. I highly recommend this ice cream shop.

Went here to with some friends and we literally sat in line for over 30 minutes. There was only 2 people in front of us and no one else but the 2 employees behind the counter.They genuinely didn’t care to take orders or do their jobs. I don’t recommend.

After dinner we stopped in for a sweet treat!! Daughter got mouse tracks with TONS of toppings and I got the praline pecan ice cream. So may options to choose from.. even 2 no sugar options for my diabetic hubby for another day. The 2 employees (didn’t catch their names) that’s was helping us, done a fantastic job and was so nice and upbeat!! Makes me definitely wanna go back!!! Definitely recommended to anyone looking to cure a sweet tooth!!

My husband and I are ice cream connoisseurs! This is probably the best ice cream we’ve ever had. We each had the two scoops of the two coffee flavored ice creams in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. The portion was generous and the prices were definitely not Birmingham style. The “Daily Grind” flavor was divine!! There were small chocolate covered coffee beans blended into the ice cream. There was a coffee chocolate flavor that was delightful. The other coffee flavor was wonderful, but maybe not quite as bold as the Daily Grind flavor. The young man that waited on us was exceedingly kind and respectful. We give Kaleidoscoops our highest recommendation. Next time we pass through Decatur, this will be our first stop!!
