Overall, the food was decent and the prices felt reasonable for what you get. The bibim mandu had a lot of vegetables, so it felt light and refreshing—almost like eating a salad, which I liked. The stir-fried squid was pretty good too. I ate half there and took the rest home to turn it into fried rice, and it actually tasted even better that way.

The gamjatang hot pot, however, was a bit disappointing. Instead of sigeumchi greens, it had kimchi in it, and the broth was oddly thick and gritty because there was way too much perilla powder. The pork also had a noticeable smell, probably because it seemed to have been pre-boiled and refrigerated before serving. It almost felt like they added extra perilla powder to cover that smell.

Hellllll yea! This place is great. The food is delicious the service is very friendly and pleasant. Highlight for me was the seafood pancake and the soft tofu soup . Also the soy garlic wings we loved and the corn cheese! The banchans were great too!

We stumbled on this pace while on the area and hungry and we will definitely be back!

I’m in town for a convention and came to 707 Sutter for some late night dinner. It’s a cozy little place with nice ambiance and great service. I got the Fried wings w/soy garlic and Beef dumplings. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious, even an hour before closing. They brought this delightful appetizer platter out and it was ALL delicious! Then the dumplings were crispy but tender inside and the wings were crunchy and perfect. 10/10 loved it!

One of my go to Korean spots in downtown SF by Union Square. There’s parking around the streets and many parking garages. Pretty authentic and Korean bar style food and restaurant. They play kpop music and project their music videos. They have soju and beer and all of the traditional eats. Good banchan, love their Korean fried chicken (soy garlic), corn cheese, seafood tteokboki (rice cake). They have soups and kimchi fried rice and bbq meats too. Service is great and quick!

707 is a great go-to Korean restaurant, especially if you’re in the Union Square area. It’s close to my office, so I like to stop by for dinner after work.

The food is consistently good — I’ve been here many times and it always hits the spot. Nothing mind-blowing, but definitely satisfying and dependable.

I’d give it a 3.5/5 overall. Great option if you’re craving Korean comfort food in the area!

The food was tasty overall. We started with the corn cheese as an appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. They also served a few small side dishes with rice — our favorites were the crispy vegetables with an egg-based sauce, the cooked fish skin, and a darker dish with a pickled-style sauce that seemed like seaweed, which was also good.

For mains, we had the stir-fried pork and BBQ chicken. Both were well-prepared and came in generous portions.

In the end, we’d say it was an okay experience. Nothing particularly outstanding or surprising (except for the corn cheese!), but nothing bad either — just average.

One important note: the glasses had a greasy smell, like they weren’t fully clean. It was noticeable when drinking water and affected the overall impression a bit.

I was traveling for work and was really craving korean food. This place was a saving grace! I went in for lunch on a Tuesday and it was completely empty, which initially made me worry, but I was completely wrong! The kimchi stew and rolled egg were super delicious. Even the side dishes (banchan) all tasted better than the any other korean restaurants i’ve been to.

Looking at the menu and the interior vibe, it seemed like a great place to go out for late dinner and drinking with friends.

I ordered the fried chicken wings and cold kimchi noodle soup, and both dishes exceeded my expectations.
The fried chicken wings were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, tossed in a flavorful sauce that had just the right kick. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavor.
The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall great experience. Highly recommend this spot!

It is probably one of the best Korean BBQ I’ve tried in San Francisco. Not so expensive and the portions are really good. The server was very friendly as well, I guess her name is June.

I had the pleasure of dining at 707 Sutter, a cozy Korean restaurant, around 6 pm. At that time, it wasn’t too busy, but as we settled in, more customers started to arrive—a clear sign that we were in for a great meal.

Food:
I ordered teriyaki chicken with white rice, and we started with a plate of shrimp. The food came out hot and well-seasoned, with generous portions that were perfect for sharing. Every bite was delicious! We ended up passing dishes around the table and still left with a few to-go boxes. Those dishes included Spicy chicken, chicken wings, fried rice with vegetables and beef dumplings. The flavors were rich, and the BBQ chicken had that perfect smoky sweetness. A special mention for the shrimp appetizer—crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. It really set the tone for the meal!

Service:
The service was top-notch. Our waitress was attentive without being overbearing, making sure our glasses were always full and checking in just the right amount. It’s always nice when you feel well taken care of but not rushed.

Ambience & Cleanliness:
The atmosphere was pleasant, with plenty of seating, which made it comfortable even as the restaurant got busier. The dining area was spotless, and the clean bathroom was a plus. It was easy to relax and enjoy the meal in such a well-maintained space.

Extras:
I also enjoyed a hot cup of saku, which warmed me up, and made sure to stay hydrated with water. The contactless payment was convenient, and I appreciated the modern touch.

Overall, 707 Sutter exceeded my expectations in every way—great food, excellent service, and a clean, comfortable dining environment. Highly recommended if you’re craving Korean BBQ or just a fantastic meal with friends or family!
