Who would think that you would find a world class Detroit style pizza in a non descript plaza in Narragansett RI. We ordered the Ron Swanson, which is tomato sauce, whipped ricotta, double pepperoni, fresh garlic, hot honey & red pepper flakes. We added mushrooms & black olives in addition, just for good measure. Based on that amount of product, you would think this would have been as heavy as a brick, while hefty, it was actually lite and this is where the magic happens. Their dough is outstanding, due to a very involved process, it’s as lite as air & crispy. From the first bite you can tell that there’s a commitment to quality & that they take their craft seriously.
Will definitely be returning & trying different items. Lastly, the guys behind the counter are super friendly & courteous.

The Ron Swanson, Barbeque Chicken and Mom’s Veggie – all Detroit Style were each phenomenal. Everything from the crust, the sauce and the toppings just seemed perfectly fresh and high quality. Definitely different and BETTER than any pizza we have had here in RI. We picked it up and met the owner who was super friendly. We will be back!

We stopped in Saturday evening and was pleasantly greeted by staff. Took a few minute decide what we wanted which was the Ron Swanson Detroit and an or order of teriyaki wings. The owner came out and said hello and to ask if we wanted the wings first or together which we thought was nice. The place is small with 3 4 top tables and a small counter to sit at. They are expanding their kitchen and dining area shortly which will be a great addition! Pizza and wings where a 10/10

Tried this place last night, and really wanted to try the detroit style pizza we had seen in some photo reviews. Not seeing it on the menu, we decided to head down and order it in person. Oh. My. Greatness! We opted for the Big Mac detroit style, and a medium Bob Marley. 1. Both crusts were incredible. Crispy, chewy, light. Delicious. Both held up well for the 37 minute car ride back home, only wish we had gotten a pizza with red sauce so we could try that as well… so you know we’ll definitely be back. Fast forward to the next day… Both cold and reheated were almost just as good as fresh! It’s a good thing this place is 35-40 minutes away because we would be there every week! Remembered to take some photos only after pieces were eaten!

Wow, we, wowee… The people of Narragansett have a gem in their back yard. Made the trip down to try On Point Pizza for the first time. It lived up to the hype. Went with a Detroit Style deep dish. Half “Ron Swanson” and half meatlovers with no meatball. Both were excellent. If I could only choose one it would be what I refer to as the “Wrong Swanson”, which would be a meatlovers Ron Swanson, no meatball, standard ricotta and hot honey. OPP has cracked my list of top pizza places in RI. Give it a shot. You need to call in the Detroit, pricing is along the lines of the XL.

Adding to the pile of great reviews was incredibly easy. Excellent pizza. And sometimes when you order from a place right at opening, you can get food that looks and tastes “rushed”…but not here. It was cooked to perfection and even more tasty. Will gladly be back as we’re in this area pretty often. Can’t wait to try the Detroit styles next.

Came into the store to order a simple pepperoni pizza. The owner/manager (I think his name was Chris) was very rude and I heard him making racist jokes with some of the employees while I was waiting for my pizza. There was no heater in there so it was freezing in the restaurant. After waiting almost 40 minutes for my pizza, I just asked for my money back. Chris said he would not refund me because my pizza was almost done. I ended up taking the pizza home. It was greasy and only had like 8 pepperonis on the entire large pizza. As you can see, the owner is extremely rude and condescending in the comments…always blaming the customer. I’ve reported them to the BBB for the racist comments. Is this common in Rhode Island?

It’s a beach pizza place. It’s not bad. The prices are just absolutely ridiculous for what you get. 30 bucks for an XL pizza, which is a large anywhere else. That is crazy priced. Food is ok. It needs to be priced accordingly, though. I get it they are trying to take in the money that goes through that area. The issue is in winter, you need to be really good to stay in business in that area, you’re either going to have to make your pizza and your food better, or your prices have to come down. The sandwich is way too small for $11. And when you order a toasted Italian grinder, you do not want it 4 minutes after you order a pizza and be told that your pizza will be ready in 20 minutes. That means your toasted grinder will be ice cold and doggy by the time you get your pizza. This needs to be timed out accordingly. I will give it another shot. I hope they make some changes so I can change my review. If you enjoy spending a lot of money on decent pizza, then this is the place for you.

As a Narragansett resident, I figured it was time to try what everyone was raving about. Ordered a medium Supreme Specialty Pizza. It was a very good pizza and one of the better pies I’ve had in RI. I wouldn’t call it the best I’ve ever had, though. I’d say a solid 8 out of ten. I asked for alittle extra cook and they did it. Maybe a bit too much but that’s okay.
