Amazing and authentic food! We ordered the Hanoi spring rolls with pork and Woodear mushrooms and it came out piping out and perfectly crisp. We also ordered the beef luk lak which was delicious and tender. The highlight of the meal was the bun cha. Our lovely waitress Huyn showed us how to properly create our own rice paper rolls and the whole experience was so fun and tasty. We are already planning what we will order next time we are here. Thanks for an excellent first meal in Hanoi!

Food was very delicious. It was busy but still peaceful enough. Meals did take a while to come out but you have to expect that when you dine out in Hanoi (or anywhere). So if being impatient is your thing don’t go out. Appreciated the kind staff who did inform me a few times my meal won’t be long and I was totally happy about that. Yes I ate all of this to myself! Absolutely loved my experience at Hoang’s Restaurant. Amazing place with super yummy food that truly hits the spot. The host, Mr. Siro, was incredibly welcoming and did a great job recommending the best Vietnamese dishes to try. The service was quick, the staff was friendly and attentive, and everything arrived fresh and full of flavor. Such a warm, enjoyable vibe overall. Would definitely love to visit again and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys and would loves to try great Vietnamese food in Hanoi.

Our family of 5 visited Hoang’s Restaurant in Hanoi for lunch today. Our hostess,was ms. Laura. A very energetic and nice person who took very good care of our family. She was kind enough to take a few group photos too. We ordered orange juice, a glass of white dalat, 2 LIIT and one line soda. We were a mix of 4 non vegitarion and one vegetarian. We ordered chicken spring rolls and crispy eggplant fry and a special chicken Ban mi. For mains we ordered one veg dish stir fried vegan beef with morning glory, and the rest stir fried chicken noodles, stir fried shrimp with cashew.every dish was excellent. One of the staff members approached my father to ask how the food was, and his reaction was honestly so cute — he looked genuinely excited when my dad said the food was amazing. That small, sincere moment really stayed with us.
The food itself was delicious and beautifully presented. Everything we tried tasted great and felt comforting and satisfying.
The staff were very kind and friendly, serving us patiently and trying their best to explain the dishes even with broken English, which we truly appreciated. Special thank you to Huyn (hope I spelled it right!) who was incredibly sweet and kind to me, warmly encouraging me to leave a review before we left — her gentle and friendly approach really made my day.

We had a wonderful experience at Hoang’s Restaurant! It is near the night market which is from Friday to Monday. Eat then shop! We were a large group yet the service was outstanding.

Her attitude really started our meal off on the right note. She was attentive to the special dietary request ans made sure the necessary was carried out.
The food was delicious! Serving portion is sufficient too. Level 2 seats also provide better views. Ask for availability.

My waiter was so good with his service, his name was Chovy so I recommend him as your server. He also helped me assemble the food on table. Had an amazing experience at this place. It had like 27000 reviews already and a 4.9 rating so had to try. I tried the Hanoi Traditional fried pork and spring rolls. It was very oily but that is common for here. Do not miss the coconut coffee, a bit sweet but amazing

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, thanks largely to our server, Laura. As we’re not very experienced with Vietnamese cuisine, she took the time to explain everything clearly and made us feel completely comfortable. She even helped us roll the spring rolls, which was a great touch and made the experience fun and interactive.
The food was excellent, but the service was even better. Laura’s patience, knowledge, and friendliness truly stood out. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this place!

Had lunch here and was served by Lisa. She was extremely helpful and friendly. She demonstrated how to eat the traditional foods in the correct ways and was very passionate about it. The customer service was phenomenal and even though it was busy and there was an expected 30 minute wait, food was served fresh and hot within reasonable time. Lisa was great help!
