Had sushi at the restaurant. It was okay. Togo hibachi steak (medium rare) and teriyaki chicken. This is what I received. Steak well done and swimming in teriyaki sauce with fried rice that was old and yellow lettuce. Will not return.

Nice place to have sushi, I ordered ocean sam roll and lover’s roll, they were so yummy. My husband ordered sashimi deluxe go with miso soup, He said this was the best sashimi in the town. Our server was friendly and lovely, definitely come again!!!

I can say for certain that the all-you-can-eat at Ocean Samurai In Christansburg is well worth the price. For around $35, you have 100 minutes of limitless access to over 88 items. Honestly, compared to some other all-you-can-eat hibachi places, the food here is great for the value. My one critque/suggestion I have of this place is that they inteoduce tablets for the table to place food. I personally prefer it this way and it adds to the overall atmosphere. In general though, love this place and can’t wait to be back!

So we were a Large party so I understand getting an automatic service fee/ gratuity, but one of our party got his food nearly 20 minutes after the rest of the party had been served, and the waiter came to check on us, was told that a member of the party didn’t have his order (there were only 8 of us). 1. That’s something wait staff should double check as a matter of course that everyone has food a table. 2. After the waiter was informed of the issue, he came to ask if everything was ok, and we had to remind him again.
After that terrible service, he had the gaul to add the automatic tip at 20%. I am sorry but the word tip, was originally an acronym “to insure promptness”. Not a guarantee for terrible service. If you are going to automatically add a tip to a meal there there had better be stellar service.

Wow! I was shocked how delicious everything was! It was my husband’s birthday and the owner sent a complimentary squid salad thst was amazing we will definitely be going more often. ! Well worth the hour drive!

Nice japanese restaurant with a good sized menu. We got some sushi that was pretty good, tasted fresh, good amount of food and not too expensive. Also got the unagi don but the eel to rice ratio was off balanced and unagi was a little bland but still tasty. Staff was very nice and prices weren’t too outrageous. Would recommend!

Kind service and good sushi. Love their lunch special. Takoyaki is super hot, so becareful eating it. It was so good we couldn’t wait and consistently decided to keep burning our mouths.

I’m a fisherman and I recently moved to the mountains. I’ve struggled with the idea of eating “fresh” seafood anywhere around the Roanoke Valley. I’ve tried multiple sushi places and they have all come up short. I actually found this place to have probably the best sushi I’ve had since moving here. It was delicious. There is nothing fancy about this place and it’s atmosphere but the food was very good.

I came during graduation weekend, but even with the increase amount of staff the service was not great. I had to ask who was my waiter, the sushi was warm, and there were flies in the establishment. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

I’ve been eating Dragon Rolls for over a decade. Starting in Rochester, NY in 2008. I’ve even made the dish at home as I’ve come to love it. If you think you did a good job, that’s your business. I did enjoy your location in Christiansburg, but I will not return to an establishment that thinks they can do the least and be proud of it. I’m attaching a photo from your other location. Also, please stop serving your patrons hot dragon rolls and think it’s ok.
