So tried this place based on a friend’s recommendation. It was excellent. Ordered the burnt ends appetizer and it was much more than bargained for. Tasted great and was a large portion. 2 very great things! Proceeded to order the BBQ meat board…was completely blown away! It was worth the price tag. The food tasted great and did not need ay sauce. Technically a couple could order this and eat on it together!
The atmosphere was great. The service was friendly and prompt.
Will definitely visit again!

The Groove is a fantastic establishment with a vibrant outdoor atmosphere—complete with cozy seating, ambient lighting, and a welcoming vibe. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the smoked wings with honey old bay glaze along with a great Hazy IPA they had on tap outside (I can’t remember the name of the brewery).
The heart behind this place is undeniable. It’s family-owned, and you can feel the warmth and hospitality in every detail. The owner’s loyalty to law enforcement and tribute to a lost friend is deeply moving, as reflected in the venue’s name and logo—“The Groove,” inspired by his belief that music heals the soul.
I stumbled upon this place in my travels, however, I’ll absolutely return if my travels bring me through the Eastern Shore again. Honestly, it’s worth going out of your way to experience.

I play at venues all the time and when I say the groove is as musician friendly as it comes I mean it . The place is designed for artists in every way . The groove isn’t just a restaurant and bar it’s the next level of a dining and drink experience as well as a beautiful wedding venue . Kid friendly and handicap accessible ! Not to mention the amazing food !! The indoor seating is welcoming and esthetically pleasing accompanied by a gorgeous outdoor bar with amazing swing chairs and a fire pit . This is for sure a must visit location !

Our family had a great experience at The Groove for my parent’s anniversary. Xavier was the best server – so friendly, good with kids, and made sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much to ask. And he brought my parents a complimentary cake. All of our meals and cocktails were top tier. I’ve loved this place for a while but love it even more after enjoying it with my family.
We really enjoyed the Cowboy Bruschetta, The Groove Burger, Crab stuffed salmon, pecan encrusted salmon, and the stuffed chicken that was on special.

The vibe here officially makes this my new favorite local spot. Everything is relaxed and casual both indoor and outdoors. The bars have tons of seating and are clean and well stocked. The burnt ends grilled cheese and BLT were both perfect, and the smoked salmon tartine appetizer was fantastic. Our waiter Cross was attentive, friendly, and happy to make recommendations. We cannot wait to come back and try more dishes and take advantage of the hammocks and cornhole in the giant sand area!

I absolutely loved this place! The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything we ordered came out quickly and tasted amazing, especially the fried chicken ceaser wrap that was packed with flavor without being overwhelming. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. On top of that, the service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Lyric, our waitress, was phenomenal! Best server I’ve ever had! The owner even came up to us and made sure we were having a great experience! He was great! I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and a great time!

My 1st time here and my expectations were exceeded. Our server, Rylee, was a delight. Genuinely sweet and very personable. The atmosphere was fresh and new and looked like a fun place as soon as we walked in. The food was outstanding. I’ll be back. I want to try brunch too.
