Food was absolutely 10/10! Even just the plain chicken alfredo was absolutely delicious!! Almost as if they put secret ingredients in it! My brother loves this place and we celebrated his birthday here. Other dishes ordered by our party were the salmon (10/10), lasagna (10/10), and my brother’s chicken parm. I do NOT like red sauces. So I refused to try his dish, but he loved it! Their calamari was also to die for!! So soft and not rubber chewy like other places.
My only 2 cons is that the place is so dim, (I personally don’t like dark restaurants) and our waiter never offered me a refill drink, but the food made it all worth!

First time eating at a Maggianos. Friendly service and really quiet. Food was great! Starting with the fresh salads, amazing appetizers, and mouthwatering dishes. And to top it off, sweet desserts. So much food we had to take half of it home.

You’re paying mall prices when you eat places like this. It’s right next to Memorial City Mall. I thought the food was good but not great. The Cesar Salad was decent. The Chicken Alfredo was said to be the “finest” according to the menu. It was OK but nothing special. They were very skimpy on the chicken. For the price of the dish, it should’ve had more protein. The butter cake was excellent. The service was decent. They had a live band playing. I drove 30 miles to get here and I probably wouldn’t do it again unless I was in the area.

I’m really disappointed to say that our experience at Maggiano’s Little Italy – Memorial City was the worst of my three birthday dinners this year. Sadly, this location did not live up to expectations at all, especially compared to our previous visit to Maggiano’s Little Italy – Downtown Houston, where the food and service were excellent.
Let’s start with the drinks. I ordered a Bellini, and it did not taste good at all. I asked if I could switch it to a Patrón margarita, and while they did accommodate the change, the margarita came in a much smaller glass than my first drink and tasted awful. I’m not someone who sends drinks back, so I kept it. I decided to try one more option, the pomegranate martini, and it honestly tasted like red Kool-Aid. Very disappointing.
The food unfortunately did not improve the experience. My daughter ordered a white fish dish that was extremely strong and overly fishy. It looked like it had been covered in paprika and was very unpleasant. I ordered the smoked salmon dish, which came topped with banana peppers, not a combination I enjoyed at all.
The salmon was also overcooked. My husband had the lasagna, and while it was decent, it still did not compare to what we’ve had at the downtown location.
What really upset me was the service and overall experience. We made reservations and clearly noted that we were celebrating my birthday. Not one staff member acknowledged it. My husband eventually had to say something. At the downtown location, we were greeted with warm hot towels at the beginning of our meal. At this location, we were not. However, another table that came in after us received hot towels from our same server. That inconsistency was very noticeable and honestly made me feel uncomfortable and overlooked.
The birthday dessert that was brought out was also disappointing, hard lemon cookies that were not appetizing and definitely did not feel celebratory.
This was supposed to be a special evening, and instead it was a very frustrating and disappointing experience. I will not be returning to this location, and I would not recommend it for anyone celebrating a special occasion. Birthdays should feel acknowledged and valued, and unfortunately, that was not our experience here.

Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Good vibes and the manager is amazing! Now if your palette isn’t wide then you may struggle with finding an option but my husband just got the lasagna and he enjoyed it. The drinks were strong and good! The butter cake—to die for!

Joey, our server, was absolutely amazing! He was exceptional in every detail. Everything he recommended was spot-on—the food was outstanding, the atmosphere was great, and his vibe made the entire experience even better. He truly understood our humor, and it honestly felt like home—lots of laughs and great energy.
The bread was incredible, and the butter cake he recommended for dessert… wow. It was completely out of this world! I can’t say enough good things about the service—it was truly exceptional.

We were seated immediately which was really nice since it was a Saturday night and we didn’t have a reservation. Our server was very attentive and he gave great menu recommendations. The Italian Margarita was a little salty and very strong, highly recommend giving it a good stir because the cream does help it go down smoother 8/10. The Caesar Salad was huge and perfect for sharing, however I would’ve loved more dressing and the croutons were mid 6.5/10. Calamari was such a good portion to share and the batter was nice and light. I wish it was a bit crispier, but overall very solid 8/10. The Chicken Piccata was so yummy, everything was cooked perfectly 9.5/10! To end everything off we had the Tiramisu for dessert, good choice and very creamy 8/10. Overall I would recommend, perfect for a date night or to celebrate a special occasion.

My company had a work event here for about 40 people and the Maggiano’s team handled it phenomenally. Upon walking into the event room, I immediately noticed the mini bar right outside the doors and was welcomed with a drink right away. They also had our company name on the tables on welcome cards. Great preparation by the team.
The food was decent considering it was for a party as big as ours was, nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about either. There was a good selection of everything from Caesar salad to salmon to 2 different cakes for dessert (cheesecake and tiramisu).
I would not complain if our company does another event here. There is a strong smell of cheese throughout the restaurant which wasn’t pleasant but also understandable given the dishes they serve.
