An absolutely amazing meal! The menu and the ingredients are really quite something – like nothing else we’ve ever seen! The food was sensational. I had anchovies and I tried some of mt parters tuna tartar (delicious). We then had a hot starter each because they looked so good and oh my they were! The squid and the octopus. We finished with the suckling pig which was beyond beautiful. Espresso came with some sweet treats. An amazing meal. We did have to pick our own wine as there was no one to recommend a wine to go with the meal – not sure if it was a language thing or not. But luckily we had an app to guide us! The wine list is great also. The tables are quite close together but it’s fine! In all a fabulous meal

I really enjoyed lunch. The atmosphere was soft, elegant and friendly, with many locals present. It was mid-summer, which made everything feel even more beautiful. The place had great energy and was perfect for a relaxing lunch. The food was detailed and lovely. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking to unwind over a meal.

We had a delicious lunch at Roux, a short walk from them Recoleta cemetery but not at all a touristy location. Lovely enclosed white linen quiet street side outdoor settingThe food was impeccable, delicious and gorgeous. We were treated to an amuse bouche of a gazpacho and a pate, with a lovely selection of breads on the table.
Tuna tartare, llama carpaccio, cod croquettes and a lamb ravioli in tomato sauce, accompanied by a gorgeous and quite affordable Mendoza Sauv Blanc … A wonderful treat in a day of sightseeing.

You start the meal with complimentary bread, foie mousse and gazpacho. Had the anchovies, octopus and chiparones. Lacked flavour and the dishes were just mediocre: Only wines and beers on the menu.

I know why this restaurant is so highly acclaimed now. The food was amazing and to very high standards. The presentation of the plates were also very beautiful. We had the jamon, and for a main I had the lamb ravioli which was incredible! The only thing I would say is I wish the music wasn’t so intense. We were sitting outside and there was house music playing, and for a restuarant like this that’s very classy I would say some softer music would have been nicer. Other than that it was a beautiful place with great food.

Service was excellent
But the food looked great but tasted below average
Too salty, seems all is cooked in the same pan, meet and fish.
Not bad but not wow
The vibe was ok

What a gem! Don’t even know where to start… The place is absolutely faultless. We found it by sheer accident as we were living just round the corner. Let’s start with the easy bits. The staff is super friendly, speaks English, with sense of humour, smiles, no airs & graces and very reactive. The place reminds me of a typical French bistro (but from a higher shelf), being small (perhaps 30 covers), white tablecloths, subdued lighting, intimate atmosphere – in a word, cosy. Now the best bit – food. We had no hesitation in choosing the tasting menu (all in – 11 dishes with 5 glasses of paired wine @ around USD80 per person at the time of writing) – not a steak in sight! Which is great, after 5 weeks of eating beef (undoubtedly the best in the world). It is a combination of seafood, pork (suckling pig to die for!), fruit & vegetables. Even after the 11 courses & wine you do not feel extremely stuffed. For optics of the food – see the photos but for the taste – I must say it was sublime, perfectly balanced & imaginative. And served with perfect timing. The inclusion in the Michelin guide is very well deserved!

Great french style food and fresh seafood which was really delicious. Delightful and I loved the octopus and the fish, which were extremely fresh, as well as the plating. Lovely fusion and balance of flavours. Service was excellent.
The restaurant was also generous and served a few amuse bouches complimentary. The bread basket had a good assortment of breads and was acxompanied by high quality butter. Gnocchi was a bit too soft for my liking though as I prefer it to be a bit more springy and chewy.
Make a reservation to ensure you get a seat, and if request to sit inside as much as you can. I wouldn’t recommend sitting outside as the lighting isn’t that great (if you are having dinner), and on a cold day (though they have heaters) as it does get a bit windy. Not within the restaurant’s control but if you’re outdoors and the garbage truck comes by (am not sure about the schedule but one came in the evening) it does dampen the overall experience a little.
