This is a beautiful spot. The architecture and style of this restaurant is very appealing. The food is everything you expect it to be with the way the place looks. It’s great. I had absolutely no complaints when I showed up there was barely anybody there so service was great and food was fast. I would definitely recommend stopping if you’re hungry and close by!

This place has wonderful food. Apple BBQ wings were sticky and perfectly tender and sweet. Fried pickles were average, they were not as crispy as i would have liked. Reuben rolls were kind of the same way. Blackened Chicken vodka pasta was very good, moist, and deliciously sauces. Korean street tacos were nicely balanced. The pork belly bowl was very comforting. Cajun mac is also very comforting. The faroe island salmon had wonderful sauce and chili crisp. The root beer was very good. Almost butterscotch. Beers were average.

The Bavarian Pork Chops—one of their course menu was probably one of the best pork chop steaks I’ve ever tried in my life. As a Rockford local who has tried all of their menu before, I really hope they could keep this as one of their regular!
The “Beeramisu” was an interesting dessert as well, with a hint of sweetness and a full of strong “beer-ness.”
Also, cool vibes & def a great place to dine out in the weekends!

Nice bar/restaurant by the river. Service was immpeccable. Our server constantly checked on us. Huge list of rotating beers, all avaialble in a flight for tasting. The Rockford burger was good but spicy, gyro was a bit dry, and taquitos also lacking in flavor. Fish n chips were good. Nice place overall.

Lovely upscale bar-restaurant with great outdoor seating! I’ve been here many times over the years, but the most recent was to celebrate my cousins’ birthdays. I ordered the Peacock Punch which was both gorgeous and sweet and fruity. And I also ordered the American Burger, medium well, no tomato. The burger was pretty good, I think there might have been a bit too much mayo as it kept trying to slide out of the bun. The potato wedges were very nice as well. I think I’d get something a little more adventurous next time, but it was still a lovely dinner.

I LOVE this place. Been a few times, and each experience gets better and better. The menu has great variety, and everything I’ve had is done well. I did a flight of 8 beers, plus 4 different *free* samples this time… and they might be my favorite brewery now!

All was perfect, except get rid of that damn “service fee”. No reason for that. Food was excellent. Atmosphere on the river dock was wonderful. Staff was exceptional and so customer focused! We will be back. Everyone was sweet to the dog also. Very appreciative. While sitting on the dock, we could here tthe water splashing below to give a great outdoor experience. Get out there before Winter.

The Prairie Street Brewery in downtown Rockford IL is a must visit and experience location. It is located along the waterfront, providing a lot of outdoor seating, event space in several locations, and the service is very friendly and focused on the customer experience. The food is classic brewery food, with a local touch , and providing several healthy options. The Mediterranean specials were excellent. Very well balanced, excellent temperature, with the right flavors, and very good quality. I was definitely very pleased with the price and food combination. I did not have a chance to taste the beer selections. I will definitely be back. Parking is also a strong point for the location. Plenty of parking. My personal score is a 4.9.

Great brewery with a good balance of beer styles and amazing food. It is inside the old Rockford Brewery building and there is a taproom if you want to drink by the riverside but it was closed so I’m assuming it’s only open during the summer.
