Terrible service, took over 1/2 hour to place order, took over hour to get food, no silverware or napkins, food came out cold and each person got served different times, coffee cold, missed items ordered. Charge me upgrade for pumpkin pancakes and only brought out 1 instead of the 2 ordered. They were half the size in height from the buttermilk ones.. when second pancakes came out it looked green molded..
Every table was complaining about time and why half table got order and rest at table did not..Bathrooms were horrendous, smelled like it had not been cleaned in weeks, no tp. Will never go back..

Location is amazing. Our server Linda was absolutely wonderful! The food, oh my the food was amazing! I have never had this same meal this good! None of us have and it was the 3 of us. This has been one of the best parts of our traveling this week!

Terrible Experience
My group of four and I came to IHOP and were completely ignored. No one greeted or seated us, even after we waited patiently. When we tried to get a server’s attention, they had a bad attitude and didn’t seem interested in helping us at all. We eventually gave up and went to Denny’s instead, where we were treated much better. Really disappointing experience — we won’t be coming back.

We were a party of 15 and our server was fantastic! Kept drinks and food on the table at a timely manner. Then took our money after we were finished. And also served 5 other tables while we were present.

This is my least favorite IHOP ever. Downtown Columbia SC. Service is always bad & very slow. Have eaten at this location probably 5times this time was the worst. Was sat right away but then nothing. There was only 1 other table there besides our table of 3. Never received our water had to ask 3 times, food took 28 minutes & we didn’t receive what we ordered. Had small stack of blueberry pancakes,large stack of strawberry cheesecake pancakes with side of hash browns & 2 egg bfast. Didn’t receive any hash browns or toast. Our server lacked everything. Only went here because my son wanted the strawberry pancakes & the other IHOP towards Harboson was closed. Which of you going to eat at IHop that is definitely the location to go to.

Got there shortly after they opened and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated due to them not being ready and another 15 minutes to order because their kitchen staff was not ready. Was given a watered down hot chocolate that was more hot water with powder at the bottom of the cup. Service was extremely slow and what should’ve been a quick breakfast turned into an almost 2 hour ordeal. The sign out front says under new management but don’t let that fool you into believing it’s under good management now

Didn’t even get served by a server. The host ended up taking care of our table and he mumbled a lot. Food was sub par but edible depending on what was ordered. Looked very understaffed even though it was Graduation Day for Ft. Jackson and they should have been anticipating extra business that day.

I got a plain 3 stack of pancakes and it was really good! I wish there were the little different types of syrup again. That’s what made my IHOP experience better in the past. The service was okay, the waitress was great when talking to us and getting us what we ordered. There was a lot of yelling going on in the back which disrupted the atmosphere. Maybe we came in at a slow hour where there weren’t many people on staff. Overall a decent experience.

After driving into town and getting in late IHOP was about the only place open to get some dinner. I had the steak tips with green beans and fries. My server was an absolute sweetheart and my dinner was delicious. I’ll definitely dine there again!
It wasn’t busy since it was so late but the place was clean and I enjoyed myself. Not too mention the portion was plenty and the price was decent.

I visited this location on Veteran’s Day at approximately 8:30 PM, and the experience was absolutely unacceptable. Upon entering, the restaurant smelled like sewer. There was one party ahead of us waiting to be seated, and after about 15 minutes, a waitress finally appeared to seat both parties. Every table was filthy. We had to stand and wait while she wiped down the table and cleared dirty dishes before we could sit. At first glance, the entire restaurant was a disaster—only one couple was dining, yet the place looked neglected and unsanitary.
The waitress, Kiara (or Kara), was the only person working. Another individual sat in a booth on her cell phone the entire time. When the waitress came to take our drink order—20 minutes later—I immediately mentioned how dirty the restaurant was, and she acknowledged it. It then took another 30 minutes to receive simple drinks: coffee, water, and hot chocolate. The coffee was lukewarm and tasted stale.
While waiting for food, we saw four separate parties enter and leave because there was no host or anyone at the front. Kiara repeatedly disappeared for long periods. The only other couple left without paying, and Kiara asked us if they had left—proof that she was not attentive. Tables remained dirty throughout our entire visit.
After waiting 58 minutes, our food arrived, and only one order was correct. How does that happen when there are only two customers in the restaurant? The service was beyond poor. I asked Kiara to remove the incorrect items and provide a to-go box. She walked over to the booth where the woman on her phone was sitting, who then got up to process the adjustment. When I asked if that woman was the manager, Kiara confirmed she was.
To learn that a manager sat idly by, ignoring the filthy conditions, failing to assist with service, and making no effort to acknowledge or apologize is appalling. This is a complete failure of leadership. After paying and leaving, I saw Kiara eating Chipotle at a booth, instead of cleaning tables or addressing the mess inside.
IHOP Location #0419 is filthy, provides terrible customer service, and has HORRIBLE management. This ruined a meal for a military family on Veteran’s Day. I will never return and strongly advise others to avoid this location.
