This is not a dine in restaurant. This is not a restaurant open until 12 am on Saturdays. I scheduled my food order, five gulab jamuns, on their preferred website, DoorDash, for pickup at 7:10 pm. I came to the address and find that it is essentially an UberEats pickup station for multiple restaurants. I get notified that my order is ready at 7:28 pm, but there’s no way to collect my order to scan. I try contacting the restaurant via one of the tablets there with no response. I try calling the phone number associated with the restaurant and it goes straight to voicemail. There are no staffers anywhere. I end up catching a guy coming out of the staff area and another customer also asks for his help with Kruthika. He goes back and checks with the staff and says that none of the kitchens know about Kruthika and it seems like they weren’t here today. However, apparently they had been in sometime this week. There’s no option to dispute the order and get a refund, so I’m going to have to call the bank to file a chargeback. This sucked, I had planned to order these treats for a birthday party and had to scramble to make other plans at the last minute.

Pairs so well with their mango lassi, serves 2 people with ease. Their pepper chicken is one of my favorites too! If you want to try some real authentic Hyderabadi Indian food I would recommend this place!

I tried the Bagara and Chicken Curry, and it was out of this world! The chicken was so tender, and the curry had just the right amount of spice -so flavorful and unique. This place is Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes from your menu. 5 stars !!

I am impressed by Kruthika Spice Kitchen in the South Loop!!! Tried something different tonight (I love lamb and chicken but had a taste for fish!) and was not disappointed! The Desi Fish Curry (catfish) was flavored to perfection and the bones were super easy to remove which made it even more enjoyable! I had it with some Bagara Rice and mixed that curry in… absolute deliciousness, wombo combo! My plating does not represent the portion size, plenty of food for 2 people!

Ordered Egg Curry after seeing the positive reviews but had a very disappointing experience. I even called the restaurant requesting to use very little oil and they confirmed.
As shown in the image, what we got in the curry was a thick layer of red oil just floating. Never have I seen so much oil in any dish, despite a request.

Fantastic. I rarely leave reviews but this kitchen is outstanding. I haven’t had Indian food this good since I was in India. We had the Lamb Shank Biryani and the Chicken Curry with Bagara Rice for 2 and both we’re incredible! Delicious and enormous portion sizes. Amazing deal. We will definitely be ordering more from here. There’s so much to try and they do a nice job of putting together combos so you order the right sides for your curries etc. Was skeptical about the takeout system, but we called the restaurant and Priya came down to talk to us and make sure we had everything we need and more. She recommended we come back for the idly and sambar too. Thank you!

I ordered paneer biryani few days ago from this place via doordash. It was amazing taste but raita was gone bad.
Today i again ordered same paneer biryani, but i ordered over the phone and picked it up by myself, guess what. Taste of biryani was total opposite from what i ordered before. It was very blend taste, paneer was deep fried and was even hard to chew. And i felt like i was eating vegetable pulao with no spices at all. And raita was not served at all

I just ordered the dum biryani from Kruthika’s Kitchen, and it was the best biryani I’ve had in a long time! The spices were perfectly balanced, making every bite a treat and I can’t wait to order again. If you love biryani, you definitely need to try Kruthika’s Kitchen!
