We enjoyed our dinner here! Overall, food and service were satisfactory. Although, the warm lobster roll did not live up to all the hype you see here. espresso martini was awesome. the bailey’s cream touch was creative.

– Truffle parmesan fries (9/10): fantastic, fried themselves could’ve been a tad crispier but i’m being picky. they were amazing
– Clam chowder: (9/10): So so good. Loved every spoonful. but the larger clam meat pieces were just not my thing.
– Warm Lobster Roll: (6/10): What makes it so good and popular is the buttery feel and the warm toasted bread. the lobster itself doesn’t bring much flavor. Understand lobster is expensive but felt pickpocketed putting up 45 bucks for buttered bread.

i think you can do a lot more interesting things with the lobster roll and easily add a tons more flavor. but still i enjoyed it!

The next time you’re in the mood for a classy brunch in Boston, get yourself a table at Saltie Girl and you won’t regret it. We managed to trim our list down of dishes we ordered from half of the menu to just a few. First: you absolutely must get the caviar on latkes. I will be thinking about this dish for the rest of my life, it’s that good. The clam chowder is another; in an area where there’s tons of great clam chowder, trust me that you still should get this one. We told them we were splitting it and they were kind enough to separate it in the kitchen so we each had our own dish- SO NICE!! The lobster roll was solid, but I would recommend getting something else as a main just because there are so many good lobster rolls in New England and this one, while good, isn’t a must. However, if you get it you will not be disappointed! Loved the Bloody Mary as well. The atmosphere here is light and breezy and we enjoyed watching people walk by on the street from our table. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

Some of the most perfect oysters with the perfect dressing. The Lobster Roll is a MUST. We got it warmed and it was the best decision paired with the Saltie Girl Chips. Also had the fish and chips which was cooked to perfection. Don’t miss out on this establishment!

As well our waiter suggestion and knowledge was very helpful and helped for a great experience.

My mother and I came here casually for a good seafood lunch while visiting Boston
Little did we know we were in for such a marvelous experience
We both loved the ambiance. The hostesses were gracious, and the service was fantastic.
Then we began with a Crudo and calamari, which were both great. The Caesar salad was such a creative presentation
The lobster roll, which is apparently called the best in Boston was delicious
Honestly, we are going back again today for lunch after having been there yesterday for lunch

The fact that we had to write a review speaks for itself. I don’t ever write reviews, but if you’re in Boston I would highly recommend. Our great server Sam provided exceptional service & assisted us with great recommendations as tourists. We eat honestly really good food, but this one really hit.

We ordered the lobster roll (a must!), fried clams, dry aged steak tartar, 1/2 dozen of oysters, and the anchovies tin charcuterie board. All was delicious.

A Boston classic for a reason. The food here is consistently well done, and you can tell the seafood is fresh. Everything is definitely on the richer side, so I would recommend a more family style meal if you want to try different dishes. We made a reservation beforehand, but be prepared to wait for walk-ins, especially during weekend brunch hours. The staff here are attentive and kind, despite the busy atmosphere, and I would recommend everyone to visit this place at least once during their time in Boston!

definitely the highest quality lobster roll i’ve had, but i really don’t think it’s reasonable to charge THAT MUCH, especially when the portion is not huge and you only get a measly bag of sodium-heavy vinegar chips as a side — would’ve preferred fries. i ordered the fried lobster roll, and it was filled with a good amount of really tender lobster coated in a great creamy savoury and tangy sauces, but i was expecting it to be a bit crisper or have a juicier, more explosive fry. the brioche bun was fantastic though, super buttery and soft and fluffy. i also had a bite of the original lobster roll, which had a fresher taste but more mellow flavour from the butter sauce. it was all really yummy, but i’m being picky because of how expensive it was, while not necessarily being the best or most memorable meal — or even lobster roll at that. super cool atmosphere though !!

Saltie Girl completely lived up to the hype. The lobster roll was buttery and perfectly balanced; One of the best I’ve ever had. The oysters were incredibly fresh and paired with great sauces. The atmosphere is lively but intimate, making it a perfect spot for seafood lovers. Service was attentive, and everything came out at the perfect pace. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Boston. Definitely worth the stop!

We had a great time in Saltie Girl. The shrimp cocktail is AMAZING. Highly recommend it. I had the smoked salmon bagel which was nice but I expected more from the bagel itself. My sister had the lobster roll which she enjoyed. We had a reservation and still had to wait about 20 min to get seated. Also getting the waiters attention to order food was a challenge but then everything went smoothly.

Saltie Girl was highly recommended when I was researching “best warm lobster roll” in Boston! It definitely lived up to the hype. We came in for lunch (after being denied the day before because we didn’t have a reso – recommend making one online!). We started with the cinnamon bun appetizer. It was great!!

Then, my boyfriend got the warm lobster roll and he loved it. It was beautifully plated too! I got the fish and chips – so tasty. Very crunchy on the outside, but tender fish inside!

The atmosphere was very cool, but the tables were so close together. The couple next to us started to strike up conversation because we were basically sitting at the same table… But everything else was great! We’ll be back!
