We arrived at Cracker Barrel approximately 10:15. There were many employees walking around looking like they were busy but not really work. Took us about 10 minutes to get seated. Employees would look at us then walk away without saying anything. Once someone came to seats they put us at the seat literally at the entrance of the dinningroom. People coming and going would brush against my chair to exit to the store. One lady even used my chair to support herself while walking out.
When the server came to our table he had a trainee with him. We placed our order approximately at 10:35am. My husband wanted to order lunch but was told that they can not take lunch orders till after 11 am. So we needed to order breakfast only which we did.
We waited till 11:10 before our food was brought to our table. (By this time we could have ordered lunch) The food we received was barely warm and the pancakes were hard on top and soggy on the bottom. My over easy eggs were almost over cooked. My hashbrown casserole was not even warm on the inside. My husband’s bacon was undercooked when he ask for extra crispy. He ask if it could be cooked some more. The waiter returned to the kitchen and less then a minute returned with the plate. I tried to show the waiter my pancakes were hard and he didn’t acknowledge me and walked away. We were never given silverware so we had to wait for someone to bring us our place settings.
My husband asked to speak to a manager which our server did get but first dropped off our ticket.
We ended up leaving without eating and the manage seemed unconcerned about the food or service.

Horrible service, waited 15min before anyone even asked about a drink. Then the manager pitched a fit for the second time about my 8lb Maltipoo service dog you was laying on my sweater minding her own business. I even told her that I reported the last incident to corporate, and was assured it would never happen again. I’ve ate their a lot of times over the lady 6years with my service dog, and I never had an issue till they got new management. Then to top it off it was almost an hour before we got our food, they didn’t even bother bringing us some biscuits while we waited. Also got a $5 take home and had a little bit of macaroni and cheese, and the smallest chicken thigh I believe I’ve ever seen.
I might eat there again if they change management. But I have to say I’ve been eating at cracker barrel since I was a little girl ( 40 years), and they have really went downhill in the last couple years. They need to go back to the old cracker barrel where you get a good amount of food for the price. I remember getting broccoli cheddar chicken with 2 sides for $6.99 now it $14 and you only get 1 side, that’s crazy.

Our waiter was excellent. However, the food was well below par. I happen to order this vegetable plate almost every time I go to CB. The meal is usually generous in portion and delicious. This time the mashed potatoes were so dry I was astonished. Both the pinto beans and turnip greens had more liquid than actual food and the cornbread muffin was just about hard as a rock. The carrot cake was delicious especially the icing!

First time trying this Cracker Barrel and as usual the retail store was AMAZING & full of beautiful items. They have a great sale right now and as usual there were so many items I wanted to buy. The fireplace was going which was so nice but it was still a little chilly. The server was great “Taffany”, was fast, attentive and offered me a coffee to go (which they never do) the food was good and tasted clean and fresh. My only complaint was that the prices seemed higher ($40.04) for 2 breakfast and 2 coffees, the portions felt smaller & the coffee cups looked dirty on the inside. When I mentioned it the server said they were “stained”. My husband wouldn’t drink his coffee so it was a waste of $3.19. Other than that it was fine.

I gave a 4 star on service due to the hostess not telling me I needed to let her know when our complete party was there. We waited 40 minutes not realizing that. When I went to check the wait they asked was the complete party there no one told me to let them know that.we were all there it and it still took about 20 minutes to be seated. It took an hour to get our food once seated. The server we had was great but they had her waiting another large party. Which is why I feel it took so long to get our food. We were a party of nine.

Cream potatoes was very dry, no gravy (I asked for it) cornbread was very brown and hard, no butter for it. Meat loaf was kinda dry . Mac and cheese was awesome. Thus was the first time we were there mid day. Usually we go around 3 or 4. Last few trips excluding yesterday have been great. Food was so very good and cooked to perfection. We go every week.

The workers were polite and friendly. I did not have any problems with my order as far as correctness. I got the pecan pancakes with over easy eggs and bacon. The pancakes were fantastic; could have used a little more syrup. Eggs were perfect for me. Bacon was definitely not crispy even though I marked that.
I got a few things in the store that were perfect for me and a gift for mom. Store was well stocked and organized.

Our waiters name was zach he was outstanding i told him I was allergic to meat and he brought me the allergy chart so I knew what I was getting with each meal. He was very nice and helped me anyway he could. He even noticed my food being cooked on same grill as meat and had them clean the grill and re make my food I really appreciated all he did.

We visited on Saturday afternoon. We were greeted upon arrival and had no wait to be seated. Our server was bubbly and quickly got our drinks before taking our orders, Food arrived quickly, and was hot, fresh and cooked perfectly, While eating, our server checked with us several times and made sure our glasses were never empty. All in all, a great experience, and I look forward to visiting this location the next time we are in the area.

We decided to eat out as a family on Friday night. It was a semi special occasion. It took our waiter about 10 minutes to take our drink order, mind you it was not that busy; there were lots of empty tables. When I received my food, the meatloaf, green beans, pinto beans and mashed potatoes were cold. My other family members had fried fish and fried chicken and theirs was piping hot. Their vegetables were cold though. I assume that they plated mine and waited for theirs to finish frying. The waiter brought me a fresh plate when I complained about my cold food and by the time it was brought out, everyone was finished eating…..needless to say I did not feel like eating. Wasted money, and in this economy, that money could’ve been spent elsewhere. The past 2 times we have eaten at this location, the service has been terrible. I don’t know what happened, but service used to be fantastic. It’s like they don’t bother training people. We have always loved Cracker Barrel, but lately the service and quality is not what it used to be.
