A charming and cozy deli- restaurant, perfect for a quick lunch… We ordered sandwiches with a side of entil salad and potatoes, everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly; I love supporting local businesses like this one. It’s definitely worth trying.

Town Kitchen & Provisions is an absolute gem! We made a stop here while visiting family, and let me tell you, it was a decision we won’t regret. From the moment we walked in, the cozy and inviting atmosphere enveloped us, making us feel right at home. Mel and her staff were incredibly pleasant and welcoming, which really set the tone for our experience. The sandwiches are off the charts amazing, every bite was a burst of flavor, And the potato salad? Top-notch, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. It was clear that every dish was made with care and attention to detail. We’ll definitely be making Town Kitchen & Provisions a regular stop on our visits. The combination of great food, friendly service, and a warm atmosphere makes it a standout spot. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed!

A gem hidden in plain sight right before Main Street in Bedford. Solid sandwiches, salads, and sides in an old beautiful home this place is great any time of day or weather. Also, being close to the Blue Ridge Parkway getting taken out from here would make for a great picnic. The staff is friendly and with all that being said you feel right at home. Whether you live in or out of town it’s worth a trip.

My daughter wanted to come here for her 10th for lunch. So glad we did! We ordered the friar cluck, banh mi and Ms piggy.. all were fabulous! I ordered the tomato bisque which was a very warm welcome on a cold and windy day. Hubby and daughter ordered potato salad it was nice as well. We were so full that we all had leftovers.

Very nice sandwich shop to stop for lunch! A bit pricey, but normal for this type of sandwich shop and actually worth the money! Hubby and I shared a fried chicken breast sandwich with 2 sides and a ice tea. Just enough to tide us over till dinner at 4pm. Our friends that came with us were really pleased with their meal as well. The people who we guess owned the place were very friendly! Would highly recommend this place!

How have I driven by this place probably 1000 times and I’ve never stop there till today.
I know how I actually got a lunch invite from a friend… who ever put this together, had fun with everything from the decor to the dish names.
Parking outside is snug and I did have to park way down below the building in around something else. There’s a little walk and garden also behind the restaurant, which is absolutely adorable.
Seating inside is also snug, but there is a place for outside seating when it’s warm enough.
Meals are packed in lunch bags, which means the next time I go out to the Peaks of Otter. I’m grabbing a lunch here and taking it up to the mountains with me.

3. Really good slaw.

We happened upon this place by accident and we were glad we did! The food was delicious! The servers were friendly and just good people! The atmosphere cozy. They keep everything simple and easy. And in such a complicated world this is just what we need! Very relaxing, filling and enjoyable all around. Would definitely go back.

The Romanian Nightmare and the Costanza specialty sandwich were ordered. The sandwiches paired well with all the toppings with nothing being to overwhelming. The food was very well flavored. The staff was patience and kind. The two sides offered and chosen were potato and macaroni salad. The macaroni salad was really good but heavy on the mustard side. The potato salad was also good but heavier on the onion side. It was an overall 5-star experience with a really nicely decorated home feel inside. I’d recommend to anyone who wants a nice sandwich to eat.
