Went the other day and our waiter was kind of sketchy.. Seemed like he was either high or just really really clueless on what was going on. He directed us to the weekly specials that were for Mon-Thurs.. it was Saturday.
I had a coupon and he didn’t give me the right promotion.
He also didn’t know what the day special was and make us feel dumb for knowing it..
The food was good enough though

My family and I came to this restaurant a few weeks ago during lunch time and we had the best meal and the best service!
Since we had such a great time, we thought we would come again last evening and enjoy another great meal. Unfortunately, this time was not so great. Our server came over and actually sat down at our table and took our order which we thought was unprofessional. When our food arrived we asked for our steaks to be cooked well done and when we got to the middle of the stakes they were pink. My husband did not want his recooked because then it would have destroyed the whole steak. We were trying to enjoy the sides at least but the waitress came over and then started sweeping almost right underneath our feet and moving tables and chairs that were right next to us in order to sweep and clean. Personally, we do not want to be eating food when dust and dirt is being thrown up from the floor right next to us. It wasn’t a very pleasant experience. I hope if we decide to return at a later date that these issues, do not repeat themselves. $86.00 meal that we did not enjoy. We still tipped our server and left.

11/22/2025 around 1pm, table 14 i believe.. only got drinks and haven’t seen waitress at all for half hour. After a half hour with No rolls, we asked another waitress for some rolls. She said they were making some but a family just sat down and got a fresh plate of them..
The wonderful server brought us our food. We explained that we haven’t seen our waitress, Elizabeth, since we got our drinks. The server was amazing. She apologized and immediately brought us rolls. (The rolls were important only because we had bragged about them to our son, who we were celebrating for earning high honors).( I didn’t catch servers name but she is African American with the most beautiful hair and I wish I could tip just her)..
Our waitress showed up just after food was served to ask if we needed anything else (what a joke).. she returned 10min later to ask about boxes, which I wasn’t even half through my meal. We boxes up, paid at table and left.

We visit Texas Roadhouse often—both the Scarborough and Augusta locations—and have always enjoyed our experiences. But last night stood out above all others thanks to our server, Maddy C. She provided the best service we’ve ever had at this restaurant.
Maddy was prompt, attentive, and completely on top of everything. She went above and beyond to make sure our meals were exactly as ordered and checked in regularly with drink refills. Not once did we have to flag her down—she was always right there when needed. On top of that, she was friendly, engaged, and genuinely made our dining experience exceptional.

A group of 8 of us went tonight for dinner. We were on the wait list for 530. We walked in not one person was waiting. They kept saying we are waiting for a big table to clear for you. We waited and finally got called at 635 to sit. She brought us to 2 tables with 4 on each. So we all didn’t even get to eat together. So we waited all that time for nothing. Second thoughts about going back there again. We also did tell the manager and she stated she would tell the owner but nothing was done.

Stopped in for dinner for one. First time customer, i had Harley pick out my rib eye, she was very nice. Salem was a great and friendly server as well. Steak was enjoyable. Salad was very fresh. Sweet potato was perfectly done. Had a great experience overall.

Had such a wonderful experience this evening! Our waitress (I believe her name was Megan, she had short dark hair) truly went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing dining experience.
Dining out with two toddlers can definitely be a challenge, but she made the entire meal feel stress-free and enjoyable. She was incredibly attentive, especially when it came to allergies and the kids’ meals, asking thoughtful questions to make sure even picky eaters would be happy; which made such a difference for us as parents.
Despite the restaurant being packed, we Never felt forgotten. She was polite, fast, and on top of everything the entire time. You could tell she genuinely cared about her tables. Huge shout-out to Megan for making our night so pleasant, she’s an absolute rockstar and the kind of server that keeps families coming back! ✨

Normally my husband and I love coming here. But lately the service has really sucked. Today we went for Father’s day. Jenna H was our waitress. She forgot to put in our order but blamed the kitchen for being behind. We had to wait over an hour for our food. The tables around us with 6+ people (different servers) got their food within 30 minutes of being seated. The manager on duty completely ignored us, she didn’t even stop at our table but she did stop at every other table around us. We don’t ask for much. We leave great tips. But today was a huge let down at this location.
UPDATE: Gave them another try and boy I was disappointed. Did a take out order and the 8oz steak was extremely small. The rolls were burnt. Barely got any fries. Everything was over cooked. I won’t be back. *the pictures are of this order.

Went for my daughter’s birthday earlier this evening and I wish I could remember our waitresses name she was absolutely amazing ! Food was great ! We will definitely be coming back soon!

Went for lunch this afternoon arrived 12:45 ordered before 1 oclock just 3 adults and my autistic daughter. Waitress started off very friendly drinks came within 5 minuets. However then 20 minuets went by after ordering and the starters chilli and Cesar salad never came another 10 minuets someone came and dropped the chilli and Cesar salad. Two tables had then Ben sat since we sat down one a 3 top and then a 9 top. Our waitress came over once we were eating the chili and Cesar salad and said our food got dropped on the floor so it was being “rushed” at this time I had to ask for another basket of rolls and refills she didn’t offer either. another almost 20 minuets go by and BOTH of the tables who had sat down after us got their food INCLUDING THE 9 PERSON TABLE. I then asked a different server to please send over our waitress as we didn’t want to wait anymore. We had been there for over an hour and my daughter was starting to get fussy where she is autistic being out for super long periods of time can be hard. Our waitress never asked us for refills we had to ask for them. Overall really sad experience at Texas road house. Our food was comped off the bill but I ended up paying 20$ because we still had drinks the chili and salad and I didn’t feel right not paying for those. A manager never even came out to speak to us or apologize about the wait or explain the situation or offer us anything! As someone who is also a waitress this is just out right HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service.
