The service truly matched the food — friendly, fast, and absolutely on point. The staff handled our large group effortlessly and made us feel very welcome. Definitely a place we’ll keep coming back to!
From the moment we walked in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere hit us right away. The place was authentic, nicely decorated with subtle Indian touches, and the service was straight-up very good and welcoming.
Our server was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. He made great recommendations without being pushy, and refilled our drinks and our sauces basket before we even asked.
Top-tier hospitality that made the whole experience feel special.
The food? Outstanding. We started with the Dosa: crispy, flavorful, and stuffed generously with spiced potatoes and peas. The vegetarian Pulav with paneer cheese was rich, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of heat and depth of flavor. The butter chicken was even better tender, melt-in-your-mouth pieces in that iconic velvety sauce.
Portions were generous, everything tasted fresh and authentic, and the spice levels were spot-on for what we requested. No complaints at all every dish was executed flawlessly.
The prices felt very reasonable for the quality and quantity. We’ll definitely be back soon probably next weekend. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving real Indian food in Dallas. 5 stars all the way!
And with Thali, you get either Parata or Chapati. Both tasted good. Omlette that was ordered separately also tasted very good. Overall, we liked Thali, Omlette and Chicken 65. Can surely visit next time.
Having arrived about 15 minutes before the restaurant opened, we were welcomed inside to take a seat. Having only had Indian food once or twice before, we decided to try multiple dishes.
Our order:
Kuppusamy SPL Kongu Chicken Biryani
Chicken Pallipalayam
TKU Mutton Combo Meal
Panner butter masala
Mango lassi
We knew that the masala would not disappoint because we have had that before. But the other dishes blew us away as well! The variety of garnishes provided (pickled garlic, ghee, etc.) kept the meal super dynamic. The meat was all very moist and tender as well. One thing that we personally enjoyed as well was that they didn’t wait for all of our dishes to be done to bring us our food which meant our order came out hot and ready as it was prepared and we didn’t sit hungry for long.
We never felt overwhelmed by the spices but we very much appreciated the strong flavor profiles.
In fact, our masala was left mostly untouched, not because it wasn’t good, but because we indulged on everything else.
Needless to say, we had leftovers and were satiated to the extreme!
In addition to the great food, the staff was beyond kind to us. They patiently helped us select our food, talked with us at length, and showered our newborn son with love. There were also other families and children here. We love establishments that are friendly to children.
Lastly, it appears to be a family run business. The mural on the wall was a touching witness to the history and opportunity available to people in this great state.
I highly recommend this establishment and will happily return the next time that we travel to Dallas!
Overall very bad experience need to ask each and everything. No peace of mind. I agree its overcrowded. But you are not giving food for free.
Its like eat hurry pay bill and vacate asap.
