Delicious food very athletic, employee’s are great people, they serve your meal quick, the menudo is the best in Fresno and there chicken tacos very tasty and the best anywhere, enchilada sauce is the best too ❤️

Well sometimes I can’t always get over to this restaurant and I’m sorry I went somewhere else and should have waited till I could come to castillo’s. I compare every place in town to them. And the chili rellenos are the real deal. The whole Chile, stem and all, not just a chili relleno casserole which a lot of restaurants serve you. I’ve been going there for many years and always the same and never disappointed!

The best spot in all of Fresno for delicious authentic mexican food. They have plenty of space for large gatherings or an intimate dinner. They have fast service. Everything on the menu is great from the freshest hottest chips and salsa to the little guacamole tostada served before your meal. To the sizzling fajita skillet steaming hot to your table, or the loaded chili verde cheese enchiladas! Hands down this place is 5+ stars all the way.

First, let me start. Chris is a great waiter. Ask for him, and he took care of business . The food is spot on. The place was packed, but food came out fast. Several people checked on us and removed plates. Overall, it was a great place, only paid roughly $20 a person and got lots of food. Chips and salsa fresh and Horchata was good, too. We got Sopes and chilaquiles. Great value in California for sure. So, if you are in Fresno and want great Mexican food, stop by.

This was highly rated but $90 for 1 adult and 3 kids is ridiculous. Serve was fast. Overcharged me for Tortillas, when they gave ripped ones with the meal, she tried to sneak it on the tab, so I had to keep that amount from that tip. Carrillos is WAY better.

Great customer service…from the person welcoming us to the server, everyone was incredibly helpful and joyful. Amazing.
Chips and salsa are fire. It’s what you would expect with warm fresh chips and pico de gallo.
Ton of options for food, all is delicious. I got the Chile rellano and my wife got the enchiladas and tacos plate. Ton of food at a great price. IMO, this is what a Mexican restaurant ought to be. All the food that was come out looks tasty. Came out fast and hot.
Ambiance was great inside…super busy…but that’s cause this place is worth visiting.

Pretty much how I remember it. But bigger. I think they’ve added some rooms. Food is excellent and service was fast and friendly. Lots of staff working the lunch shift on a Wednesday. Haven’t been in years but was a pleasant surprise. Lots of street parking. Some parking in the lot, but it’s small with parking in the rear.

Very good food lots of combo platters to choose from if that is your thing. They also give you free hot chips and salsa. well, the salsa is cold the chips are hot. The staff here is great. I recommend the steak and shrimp fajita. The Menudo was pretty good as well.

I asked people for Mexican food recommendations and heard of this place from two different people, so I decided to give it a shot.
When I walked into the restaurant there were quite a few people and everyone seemed to be having a nice time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant smelled nice from the food.
As far as the food, I think it depends on what you order. The asada burrito was average and unimpressive. Didn’t care for lettuce in the burrito and would have preferred the guacamole and sour cream on the inside. The chile verde quesadilla was very delicious. Apparently it’s one of their popular items.
On a separate note, I find it strange they close at 5PM. I feel like they are missing out on a lot of business closing so early. Thankfully though they do not force everyone out at 5 and let people enjoy their meal.
