MOOCHIE’s Meatballs and More was born in September 2003, serving fresh homemade Italian food and the best Philly Cheesesteaks and meatball sandwiches in Utah. Where did the name “Moochie’s” come from? It’s a nickname Joanna got from her dad that comes from an Italian word we can’t figure out how to spell. Almost immediately, Moochie’s began winning both local and national awards for their fresh, handmade food and it wasn’t long before the sandwich shop took over the pottery shop completely. In 2009, Moochie’s was selected to be one of seven restaurants to be featured on the Food Network’s, “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” program hosted by Guy Fieri. Moochie’s Cheesesteaks is always a hit. The cheesesteaks are incredibly tasty. We also had the Italian, chicken parm, and the pastrami. We added fried ravioli and fried pickles for some starters. The bread is always perfect! In the past we’ve had the meatball and atomic meatball sandwiches……best meatball sandwich I’ve ever had! We’ll be back!

Cooper Sharp , can’t imagine a cheesesteak without it honestly! If you’ve not had a cheesesteak with Cooper Sharp you’re missing out on true deliciousness for sure, it adds such a balance while giving the cheese flavor without being overpowering!
Jake the manager Midvale location was so very nice as was rest of the Moochies team. They were very personable referred to me by my name which adds that extra to the over all great experience

Best cheesesteak I know of in Utah. And from what I’ve tasted so far, the competition isn’t even close. It tastes fresh – the bread is very good and the steak is very cheesy. Also the onions and peppers are grilled to perfection.
Makes me sad the Lehi location died during Covid because it was one of my favorite Lunch spots. Luckily locations like this one still exist. Make sure you take advantage of the jalepeño sauce and fry sauce – I like to switch off between bites on my sandwich. Also the staff is great – they were nice and got my food to me quick- all I need for a great experience.
Anyway, I love this place. I only wish there were one closer to lehi as this is the nearest location to me.

Solid steak sandwich. Plenty of seating and quick service. Personally, I prefer my veggies sliced instead of chopped. Doesn’t take anything away from my meal. Nice toothsome roll, well seasoned steak and that sharp white cheddar adds an extra kick! Love that there’s a closer location to me.

The interior is spacious but nothing crazy to look at. The cashier was super sweet but easily confused. I think she was new and doing her best. There was a convenient fridge with fry sauce (both regular and spicy). They had coke and Dr Pepper options with diet or zero so wonderful drink options. The food was just as advertised and delicious. A classic dont judge the outside before knowing whats inside.

Moochie’s is one of my favorite places to get a good Philly Cheesesteak. The sandwiches are filling and you can get different sizes. They are very filling and flavorful. We also tried the fried ravioli and it was delicious. My toddler loved dipping them in the marinara sauce. Highly recommend.

I grew up as a kid in Lancaster PA so I love cheese steaks. Had every intention of going to In n Out but hit this place instead. This was the best decision I made. This place is no joke on portion size. I got a foot long and it was packed, hot and delicious. Totally recommend, I will be returning.

First time to eat at Moochie’s. I was skeptical as I’m not a big sandwich person. I got the 6” Philly with all the grilled veggies and OMG. My sandwich was overflowing with grilled peppers and mushrooms AND meat. I could taste the shed cheddar cheese in every bit. Bread was perfect texture and the meat was tender and flavorful. Their Jalapeño sauce is fire

I just had my first moochies experience about 45 minutes ago and it was so amazing I’m already planning on going back tomorrow. Just so good and so fresh. My chicken parm had a cheese pull and was steaming hot. The chicken was crispy and had none of those weird pieces chicken sometimes has. The cheese curds and fried ravioli were amazing. Just so so good. That ricotta filling in the ravioli was life changing. The curds had a perfect crunch on the outside and cheese pull on the inside. Both came with the perfect addition of their signature marinara. I’m gonna try a different sandwich tomorrow but I am sure it’s going to be just as satisfying. I had ordered a ton of food for me and my friends and I was worried that it would overwhelm the workers on a busy Saturday or maybe it wouldn’t be fresh/ we would be waiting longer since it was a bigger order. I’m happy to say that I was wrong. It was done on time and it did NOT disappoint. Everyone- not just me, was very impressed!! Seriously. I didn’t get the meatballs but one of my friends got the atomic and the bite I took was so tasty. Like it was such an interesting flavor profile with the jalapeño sauce, feta and meatball but don’t let that intimidate you- it was reaaaallllllyyyyy good. I just love this place and like I said, already planning my next trip!!!! 5 stars all the way 100%
