I really wanted to like this place because my daughter was excited about it. She was liking everything until she tasted the pork in her ramen. She immediately picked up that it was not fresh. The taste was “off” and it wasn’t the seasoning. The texture was rubbery and tough. The ratio of rice to filling in the sushi roll was not right either. The price for the quality of food didn’t feel appropriate. The staff were nice which helped.

Really great food! And pretty quick. You do have to pick what you want as you walk in and pay before sitting down.

The best flavorful Ramen I have had thus far. Service was on point and had a fun atmosphere. Reasonable prices but unfortunately found out the restaurant is closing on March 5th 2026. So if you have a chance try it out beforehand.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. A few tables were occupied, but there was plenty of open tables. As soon as you walk in, there’s a small grocery area with Japanese snacks, candies, and drinks. Took a quick look around and was seated at our table.

We had a large group, so shared the Edamame, Karaage, and Soft Shell Crab as an appetizer. For the meals, we have a various amount of ramen dishes. Both appetizers and food were good.

If you’re craving ramen and sushi in a laid-back setting then this spot is worth checking out. The food is solid, and the little Japanese snack section and claw machines up front make the wait more fun.

This was our first time here. I gotta say, this place is amazing. The food is so good and tasty. The whole time we were there the servers were very attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere was chill, and the facility was very clean. I ordered the hero’s spicy miso and we also got shrimp x shrimp roll . I swear to God while I was eating the Ramen, my mouth was salivating just for more while I was eating my food We sure will be coming back frequently..

I hesitated to write this because I never want to bring down a restaurant’s rating, especially since they seem understaffed and already have a B rating posted. I usually avoid sushi places with a B rating, but we decided to give this one a try anyway. I’m sharing this in hopes it helps others know what to expect.

We were told there would be about a 30-minute wait if we wanted sushi, and my sister didn’t mind waiting. Unfortunately, the sushi wasn’t quite what we hoped for. The rice was on the thicker side, the inside was mostly imitation crab with no fresh fish, and the fish on top was cut much thicker than usual. For us, it didn’t feel worth the wait.
The ramen was okay. The bamboo didn’t taste very fresh, and the pork didn’t have that tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture I’m used to. I’m from San Diego, so my standards might be a bit higher just because we have so many great sushi and ramen spots back home. My spicy miso ramen also wasn’t spicy at all, so I ordered a fireball. The server—who was juggling serving, bussing, and running food—was very kind and even brought me an extra one.

The main thing that concerned me wasn’t the older appearance of the restaurant, but the fact that no one could clearly tell us what type of noodles they use in their ramen. One worker said “tonkatsu noodles,” but we’re half Japanese and they didn’t look like typical ramen noodles. They looked more like buckwheat noodles, which made me hesitant because I try to eat gluten-free when possible. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get a definite answer.

Overall, if you’re looking for really good ramen and sushi, I’d probably recommend checking out another spot. I say that as kindly as possible.

I had placed a pickup order for a few different things. I remember really liking this place but this time around , the last two times i’ve gotten anything from there, it’s disappointing. first off the portion sizes aren’t really that great for the price im paying. my mini beef bowl had almost no meat. i got the bowl with eel as well, and it was even less meat than the beef. majority of the bowl is rice, i was even skimped out on the veggies that are in the bowl. My ramen was a very small portion despite it being listed as the standard size bowl. i really wanted to like this place again, but the flavors were off, portion sizes aren’t great. i paid too much for what i received and i was pretty disappointed. this place wasn’t how i remembered it

It’s a very cool spot I just happened on. Nice decor, hard-to-find snacks, and the food is very good. I went with the takoyaki and treasure bowl, and I don’t regret it! The egg omelette was intriguing and left me wanting more First time I’ve tried it.

Lesson learned, you order your food at the register when you arrive.

This is a great ramen shop! I found this place inadvertently through a YouTube video claiming it was one of the best (if not the best) in San Antonio; it did not disappoint!

Fun atmosphere. Great staff. And amazing food! Bring your friends and have fun with some of the mini-claw machines they have available in the waiting area (just be careful, it can get expensive real quick).
