Coldstone made my birthday so special! I had made an online order for an ice cream cake and scheduled it to be picked up the day of the party. I had requested at the end of the order to please decorate in a Spongebob theme, if possible, since my birthday theme was going to be Spongebob (based on the joke “what’s funnier than 24? since it was my 25th birthday). The day of, they call and confirm they can do the decorations, it’ll just cost a few extra dollars. I told them it was no problem, I was happy to pay a little extra for the themed cake! They went so above and beyond what I thought they would do, it’s truly one of the best cakes I’ve ever seen! And the flavor was amazing and everyone said it tasted incredible. Thank you to the Fairbanks Coldstone team for adding such a special element to my birthday!

I’m not usually one to complain, especially when it comes to ice cream but…
I had ordered a birthday cake for my wife, which the employee who took my order said would be ready to go the next day, as they had just made up several of that particular type of ice cream cake. When I went to pick it up the next day (my wife’s birthday), I noticed that the cake they brought out was not the type of cake I had ordered (similar but not the same kind). When I looked at the order form, it had the kind of cake on it that I had ordered, not what they had given me. I told the staff that it wasn’t the cake that I ordered, but after looking in back and telling me that there weren’t any other cakes ready, the best they did was say, “Sorry, but we don’t have anything else.” That’s it…when I paid $50 for the cake, all I got was “I’m sorry.”

Today I called the only Coldstone in “Fairbanks” and FYI to everyone reading, I live in “California”
I reached out to this location specifically because I’m trying to surprise my sweet friend that lives in Fairbanks Alaska.
And once I called and explained my situation, there was this sweet and caring person named Dorothea that answered the phone and was willing to help me out no matter what!
Let me tell you guys why, the computer was not getting my order # displayed on their end so Dorothea took all the notes written by her beautiful handwriting and called me back once she found my order
The most caring employee that I’ve ever encountered at Coldstone, bless her heart! ❤️ I was in such a big relief once she called me back, thank god for this person and you guys should definitely give them more praise!

Paid 10 for a small shake that was really watery. Didn’t even make it out the parking out m lot before it was gone.
Server seemed overwhelmed but wasn’t rude or mean.

The staff made a mistake, when asked if it could be fixed they said they would have to get the manager. The manager, Juana, was dismissive and rude to me and my husband. My husband asked for a refund if it couldn’t be fixed, but we were told to leave that our business was not wanted. Never again

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND I WASNT EVEN THERE. My wife is stationed there and has a language barrier, but she tries her best to continue to learn more fluent English. She asked for her order and they gave her the wrong toppings. Then she politely tells the staff, a male and female that her order was wrong and if she could get another. The guy grabs her cup and cuts HALF OF A BANANA and places it on top. That is horribleee @coldstone and I hope yall do better on hiring people to work in your business. I’m big on tiktok and I could 100% make a video about this and find out who those two individuals were by showing and talking about what happened today to my wife. They then give my wife’s friends that came after free ice cream to make her feel bad? My wife just wanted to enjoy an ice cream. Way to ruin someone’s day. Including mine.

Thought my last time of cold stone was five years ago lol.. I ordered a mix of mint and peanut butter,was delicious but didn’t taste minty at all guess peanut butter was too strong, avoid gummy bears…..they’re cute but stone hard not chewable

They are cold and slow. They don’t take online order into their queue unless someone arrives and wait there. And they don’t seem to be sorry at all. I’d rather buy a cream from Walmart than seeing their cold faces.
