Good experience. I don’t eat seafood, and they had a lot of other options. The group I was with said the food was good. They had a mariachi because it was Easter, and to have a song played by your table was $20 each song. They had a security guard in the parking lot, which was good because it was packed.

when I visited my cousin in Houston, him and his wife took my sister and I took us to michoacan ostioneria where we had some ceviche , some shrimp empanadas appetizers mojarra frita and a vuelve ala vida seafood cocktail love this place big very busy good staff friendly and very fast reliable our waitress is my cousins reg waitress next time we visit or drive by for sure we will make a quick stop and eat at michoacan ostioneria.

This was our 1st time trying this place. I read several reviews that spoke highly of their food and some even said their rice was better than Mambos just down the road. They convinced me to try it. The place was clean and roomy. They have a live band stage, also a large bar separate from the dinning room. Service was friendly and the food didn’t take long. I ordered the seafood platter. I was impressed with the size of the plate at the price of it. The food was good and well seasoned. My plate had both rice and French fries. The rice was not better than Mambo. I was disappointed in the rice actually. My wife ordered a shrimp cocktail for starters and the cocktail was real good and packed with shrimp. She also ordered the fish and shrimp. Her plate was a good size too. She had a large lemonade but had to send it back, she said it tasted weird. How do you mess up lemonade? I will still recommend this place, I do plan on going back. The pros definitely out weigh the cons!

The parking lot is too small for this location and is the biggest drawback here. The service is friendly and timely. The interior is large with live music on the weekends. Plenty of booths, tables and bar seating available. Prices are reasonable and on par with other seafood places. The menu has a variety of food with burritos, burgers, fajitas plates, & nachos for those who don’t like seafood. The food tastes ok but nothing to scream about.

I was really craving Shrimp Botana and I ordered them to go. When I got home, I saw that the corn was burnt and the shrimp tasted bad. I understand that it’s on a Sunday at 11 pm, but I don’t think they should serve food that looks like that or tastes bad. 28/07/25

The food is great, I recommend the mojarra plate if you like fried fish. The food is reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. My husband had the steak and shrimp fajitas, and he loved it. Our server was friendly, and the restaurant offers a full bar.
