It was my first time !! When we walked in we were greeted and when we were sat we were given descriptions of food and a few options to think over. Which we loved. Our server was knowledgeable and kind. She even brought to go plates before we asked. Which was nice. Our dirty dishes were removed numerous times throughout our meal. And The Food… from Fish, Steak, Ribs and sides were EXCELLENT! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The reason that I gave this a 3-rating is…just finished eating there for my son’s 21st birthday. I even mentioned it to the waitress and hostess. They seem to just shrug it off, and made NO effort to say or do anything, or even make it a little special. Turning 21 is a pretty good deal. Make your customers feel a little “extra” when you encounter that again.

My first time here the hostess was very knowledgeable of the menu and made a great recommendation for the Firecracker Shrimp starter. I ordered fried chicken, fries, and a salad. The ranch and honey mustard were great additions. The chicken was seasoned beautifully and the fries were fresh and salted but a little soggy. All of the servers seemed energetic and happy.

What Good is it for you to stay open till 11 o’clock but refused me to order when I come at 10:29 and say you stop serving at 10:30 thank you for accommodating me on my birthday. Was rude and lazy took over 30 min for my wife’s pizza and 50 min for my chicken She never check on us while we waited and the green beans was cold and soggy She said enjoy Wow this place has sure took a turn for the worst. Time to start going back to High Point

I Ribs are OK here not the best I have had. Probably won’t be buying them again. Fire cracker shrimp is also ok nothing to brag about . tavern nachos is really good. the chicken wings is also really good. The house salad is good.

Great service, Tosha was so delightful and helpful with our group of 6 for our younger sister’s birthday. The wait on weekends can be a challenge and a little bit frustrating. This time we really enjoyed our time together here for sure!

We absolutely love kickback jacks. I always get their steak and it is perfect when done medium rare. Make sure to try their firecracker shrimp and loaded mashed potatoes as well. Delicious

I wish I could give zero stars. My family and I have now tried to dine at Kickback Jack’s in Asheboro, NC three separate times, and each visit has been marred by what we can only describe as overt racial bias.
First impressions matter, and from the moment we walked in, the hostess greeted us with visible disdain—no smile, no eye contact, just an annoyed “how can I help you?”
We were told the wait would be 25 minutes; after an hour, we were still sitting on the bench, watching several all-white parties who arrived after us get seated within minutes.
When I politely inquired about our table, the manager shrugged and said, “It’s a Friday night, we are busy,” yet there was no consistency to that statement, given what we’d just witnessed.
I’ve never experienced service this cold while watching other customers (who arrived later) being treated warmly and seated promptly. I’m deeply hurt that a family outing, meant to be fun and relaxing, turned into an evening of embarrassment and humiliation.
If you value respectful, unbiased service, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Until Kickback Jack’s management addresses the racism and discrimination rampant at this location, I can’t in good conscience ever return.

Our family has eaten at this location a bunch over the years living here in Asheboro and last night was the first experience that compelled me to write a review. Our server Hailee H was on point from greeting to closing us out. We never had to search for her or ask her for anything. She anticipated our needs like a pro from refills to extra napkins and boxes. She was friendly, professional, and even made us laugh. I went to see about doing a survey and saw there wasn’t one on the receipt so I even went as far as calling the manager Zack today and told him how impressed I was. She cleared every thing we were finished with and even personally delivered our food instead of leaving that stuff for a busser or food runner. I will be requesting her next time.
