This is an amazing sushi place that is extra great if you sit at the bar for lunch buffet. We went today and were surprised to see it was only $20 a person for Monday Lunch. We ate several rolls, appetizers and soup. Great service, great atmosphere and we will be back soon.

If you go to Trapper’s Sushi and Glenn and Isaiah aren’t working… honestly just turn around and try again later. Glenn runs that place like a sushi-slinging wizard and Isaiah somehow appears exactly when you need something like he has customer service ESP. My water never dropped below half, my rolls came out faster than my life decisions, and the vibes were immaculate.
The food? 10/10.The service? Suspiciously perfect.The experience? I fear no other restaurant will compare.
Give these two a raise, a trophy, or at least their own signature roll. I’ll be back purely for the elite service and emotional support they provided.

When we first arrived we sat at the only bar table available even though no one was really sitting there because all the tables were covered in trash and stayed covered in trash our entire stay. There was also trash all over the floor with the floor being quite sticky. We had ordered 3 rolls that all arrived on a large plate very horrible presentation. The rolls were absolutely covered in crab to the point were we were having a hard time even finding the rolls themselves. They were all cut super uneven with some being huge and others being super tiny. Service was also quite bad as we were only visited 2 times with no water refills, no plates, and no extra napkins. Very disappointing.

They were out of the appetizers we wanted right after they opened so that was kind of weird. So we ordered a different appetizer, the chicken yakitori – just don’t do it. It was so absolutely disgusting, my husband and I both had to spit it out, we couldn’t make ourselves chew it. I couldn’t tell if it was raw or if the meat was just really poor quality. It was gummy and gelatinous. The service was good and our waitress was very nice. The sushi rolls were okay. Definitely recommend going to the Federal Way location instead of Parkland. The food is much better there.

Trappers is so amazing! Great atmosphere; the staff are always cheerful and welcoming! They are very attentive and deliver service with a great smile! But the star of the show is the sushi! Made fresh as you order it, the all you can eat bar will satisfy your appetite and leave you very satisfied!
I personally go to the Parkland location, Ryan, Anthony & Courtney plus the rest of the crew are awesome! This place NEVER disappoints!

It’s been a little bit since I have had Trappers, the food was good this time, but I remember it being way better. Presented better too. Just seemed like the quality had changed. I will come back as some of my favorite rolls are here, but ill stick to what I know not try new ones.

Food was good it’s sushi. Appetizers were more like a sample. Ordered the soft shelled crabs and I think they gave us 1 that they cut into pieces. Servers weren’t very attentive, but was sufficient. Overall nothing to rave about. Not bad but not great. Will definitely be back to give it another try to see if I just happened to be in on a short staffed or bad day for some odd reason.
