Great atmosphere in a historic building. Beautifully remodeled. Very nice staff, great high-quality food items including brisket dishes and beast burgers. Nice selection of draft beers and specialty cocktails.

My wife and I come into Liberty at least once a week for lunch. Jen always takes such good care of us. Very personable and accommodating. If you’re looking for a delicious drink, she’s your girl. Her cosmos and jalapeño margaritas are out of this world. She adds her own unique twist to all of her drinks. The food is always delicious. One of our go to apps is the steak skewers. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

We’re local but haven’t been here since it was the old hotel. The renovation inside is really well done. Exposed stone walls and hardwood floors. Music was good and they have a decent sound system. They have a small dining area in the back if you want it quieter.
Everything you see in the pics was great except the fries which were underdone and nothing special. 75 bucks for all this plus a few more drinks. Prices were spot on. We’d come back.

I don’t usually review a restaurant based on just one visit, but there were so many things spot-on at Liberty that I want to share my favorable impressions right away. My wife and I had been to our favorite farm stand, Lennilia Farm, and pushed on to Liberty for lunch. The building itself has been lovingly restored and adapted with a balance of modern functionality and historic integrity. It’s a restoration as good as I have ever seen in a privately owned restaurant in an historic building. They retained much original stone, mortar, woodwork, patina and wear. The replacement materials match the original in composition, color, and texture so well I could only identify it by considering where spaces had to have been enlarged or adapted. They didn’t make it hokey with a bunch of antique wall hangings. The lunch menu is upscale pub food, that was prepared and presented better than expected. There’s someone in the kitchen with chef skills. We had drinks that were decent pours, and we also sampled a few of the many micro-brews. We ended up spending a few hours there talking to folks at the bar. The bill for lunch for two was $80.00 including tip, but we could have had a very nice lunch with a couple of beers each for half that amount and a quarter of the time. But it wouldn’t have been as much fun!

About a 25m drive from home. A very relaxing and enjoyable experience for a lunch date. Very nice décor paying homage to the history of the building exposing original stone walls and beams while making nice modern updates for comfort and convenience. Staff was extremely polite, competent, and kind. Food was great. Drinks were great. Plenty of people coming and going and enjoying the experience. We will definitely add this to our list of preferred lunch date destinations. Recommended.

Let me share two specials we ordered during our first visit to the Liberty at Dryville: My wife ordered the 8oz seared tuna with coconut orange rice and brussels sprouts slaw. It was better than what is often served at most fine dining restaurants and only cost $22. The tuna was seasoned perfectly and seared to a medium rare, the coconut orange rice was out of this world and the broccoli slaw was a creative addition as a side dish. The second special was the tempura fried cheesecake for dessert. Just the description meant we had to try it and it did not disappoint! It was perfectly crispy on the outside, not greasy at all, with a luscious melted cheesecake underneath the tempura coating. Wow!
All the servers were friendly, accommodating, and efficient and the kitchen did an excellent job of pacing the dishes. The food came out hot and fresh and as the Tavern filled up with patrons the service did not suffer.
I cannot say enough how refreshing it is to find a hidden gem like this – seemingly in the middle of nowhere in a non-assuming historic tavern – serving creative and delicious food. We have to go back to try the chicken and dumplings and granny’s grilled cheese. Highly recommend!!!!

Liberty at Dryville Pa, has the best food and Incredible service. The bartenders, Jen and Kayla are amazing at what they do. I can’t think of a single time I ever had a bad experience here. If you want to experience a warm and welcoming environment. Then come by Liberty at dryville. Where the beer is cold, food is great and friendly smiles around the corner.
PS. shout out to Sherry, the owner. Love you girl!!!

Liberty has a nice pub atmosphere. I really like that you could do a tasting flight of any of the beers on the menu. Food was good but Mac and cheese came out cold. The Beast burger was well cooked and juicy. The smoked wings had a good smoke flavor but were a tad dry.

We went Friday after Christmas… sat in corner of bar… freezing cold… food was disgusting… I asked for medium rare steak… came out completely rare… I know this is not STK but come on now… green beans nasty..: my hubby ordered the fish and chips… holy moly…. For a person who travels to the northeast and England… this was not it… rather burnt fish… even more disgusting… bartender was nice and the two martinis she made were good… will never ever go back.

Nice dinner – thankful for later hours, its truly hard to fine a kitchen open later, so we traveled a half hour. The music was a little too loud and we couldn’t or weren’t sat in the dining room, we sat at a high top against the wall. SUPER CUTE AREA but my legs continually were tingling or numb from dangling so high (im only 5ft and didnt really reach the rail running the length of the bar). I bet all would have been great at a table or in the dining room.
