If you’re visiting Brazil and you’re in the mood for steak, you have to try CT Boucherie. The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic—it’s the perfect setting for a great meal. The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive and helpful throughout the entire evening. A special mention must go to the drinks; they were perfectly crafted and a real highlight of the night. Highly recommend!

I have just added this restaurant to my top 5, and believe me I travel and eat out a lot so this is a huge compliment.
Everything was cooked to perfection, the octopus was my favourite followed by the duck – both are a must try.
The side dishes that come in rotation with the meat you order are just divine, I never knew I could love vegetables this much. The polenta was unreal!
Our waiter Jose (I hope I got the name right) was perfect, everyone was super attentive and the atmosphere is worth what you pay for.
I will definitely be back.
Also try the white wine, it’s ok the photos, lovely!

Now that’s a real steak!

We were recommended by a friend, and as tourists in Rio, you need that recommendation. Though Google said no reservation was possible online, we were surprised to find a nice table for 3 of us as we walked in. The atmosphere was nice, the ambiance was good and we were greeted warmly.

The waiter immediately brought out the meat to show us the specials of the day, though they were not dry aged but possibly sourced better as they tasted better than what they looked like.

We were recommended the Rib Eye and Porter House (for 2), and we obliged accordingly. The meat was cooked perfectly to medium and tasted great. The unlimited sides included many options served directly from pot to plate, including the risotto, baby potatoes, milky smooth mashed potato, mushrooms, vegetables, ratatouille, etc.

All in all, great service, very good food, and we thought reasonably priced as well in the nice neighborhood of Leblon, Rio. If we ever come back to Rio again, we will certainly try their steak again!

And if you are in Rio, this should be on your list of steak houses to try! Enjoy!!

The best meal we had in Rio, by far. Skip all of the churrascarias and come here for a delicious, quality meal. We chose the recommended cut of the day for two and received two steaks each! The sides were all incredible. The service is impeccable as well. A must visit, we are excited to return!

Delicious meat, with unlimited sides! We got the Filet, Striploin (double cut) and prime rib and they were all delicious! All were well cooked, and the endless sides were a nice touch! Plenty of veg (okra was amazing!), mashed potatoes, and so much more!

We got the cheese bread with sausage to start and that was great too!

Service was splendid, friendly and knowledgeable! They brought the cuts out to our table to examine before cooking and helped with recommendations.

Would recommend!

Also, they have their own brand of house beer which was splendid and refreshing 🙂

This Place is amazing, this was recommended to us by our Brazilian friends and as a tourist who has been in rio for 1 week now I can confidently say this is the best restaurant in Rio. Steak was very nice and the sides that kept on being given to us for the whole time of our stay was also very delicious. The service was also very quick and pleasant and the vibe was calm and very pleasant. As French tourists, the French approve!

OMG. I can see why this is so highly rated. Only came here for desert. But this is the absolute best molten chocolate cake I have ever had in my life. Unbelievable. The apple crumble ice cream is also great. But that chocolate cake….takes the cake. Pun intended. I can’t wait to come back and have a meal here. The desert is absolutely amazing.

An amazing experience loved it. As we do not speak Portuguese was a bit apprehensive about the rotation of sides however it just kept on coming and all tasted so beautifully cooked. Defo my most favorite restaurant in Rio so far … perfect

Great concept, pick your steak, unlimited sides. Attentive service. As someone who hates vegetables the grilled vegetables side is particularly delicious, so is the rice, Thai style, unexpectedly good.

I tried the Molten chocolate cake as the other review was so crazy about it i almost felt obligated to try, it was above average but I had better!

Great steak too. I’ll go back again.

Pretty good streaks and as many of the others have stated, you pick your protein and get unlimited sides (sorta like a reverse rodízio). This means there’s a lot of food and you can probably skip the starters. The meat was very good but for the price I was a bit disappointed in the prime rib (it looked more like a bone-in ribeye cut to me). My wife’s tenderloin cut was much tastier and half the price. Next time I’ll probably go with one of the cheaper cuts. Overall still a very good meal and worth a visit!
