We visited for coffee and pastries. The café has a nice vibe, with both indoor and outdoor seating available, though we chose to sit inside because it was raining. They offer a good variety of options on the menu. We ordered baklava, San Sebastian cheesecake, and a Turkish latte. The baklava was fresh and flavorful. The cheesecake was decent, though a bit too rich and heavy for my taste. I wouldn’t recommend the Turkish latte, as the flavor wasn’t enjoyable. You might be better off ordering milk tea instead. The prices were slightly on the higher side. Overall, I’d describe the quality and service as average.

I’ve wanted to try a traditional Turkish breakfast for a long time, and this place delivered! The breakfast platter is huge and perfect for sharing, with a great variety of flavors. They also serve excellent coffee and tea. Very cozy atmosphere and delicious baked goods. A wonderful spot for brunch or lunch.

I absolutely loved my visit to Berna’s Bakery & Cafe! It is such a gem in Issaquah. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, but the real highlight was how fresh the food is. Specifically, the bread was outstanding—you can really taste the quality. The breakfast was balanced, fresh and cooked to perfection. We tried three egg dishes and the braised meat and eggs were out of this world. It’s rare to find a place that hits the mark on hospitality and such fresh ingredients. I can’t wait to return!”

First of all, the Turkish coffee is a must-try — it’s not something everyone has experienced, and it’s truly special ☕️

The lentil soup is amazing, perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
The Turkish delights are delicious and beautifully presented — they really catch your eye.

The Turkish breakfast is just as impressive: rich, satisfying, and it makes you want to try everything on the table.
The tea is always hot and fresh

Every visit feels exciting, and we already look forward to coming back again.
Highly recommended ❤️

Amazing authentic Turkish food and desserts! The staff are super friendly and the service is great (the plates are especially cute, too).

tried the traditional Turkish breakfast (serpme) and it was incredible. My favorite was the menemen (omelette), but everything else was delicious as well. The only downside is that the portion size for the serpme (the traditional Turkish breakfast) didn’t quite feel like it justified the price, but it still wasn’t too bad overall.

If you go, I highly suggest the cheesecake. It comes with melted chocolate that you pour over the top—it tastes amazing!

I was welcomed right when I came in, she was very nice. I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwhich and it was so good. the nice soft bread was so good and meat ratio was perfect. it had this pickle, tomato, and lettuce on it that was so good with it. I also Got the Turkish delight deserts and they are also delicious.

Sooo good!!!! Super impressed by the quality of the food and the genuine warmth of the service. The simit fresh out of the oven is worth any drive tbh. The flavor and the crackle of the crust and the soft fluffiness of the inside will live in my mind rent-free. Can’t wait to go back and try more things!

Oh and they have outdoor seating + reasonably spacious inside seating area

A great place for authentic Turkish Breakfast. We loved everything about this place. Homey and feels like your dining in a home rather than a restaurant. Highly recommend their breakfast spread. Will go again and try more meals for sure.

From the moment we entered, the cozy décor and open layout created a warm and inviting atmosphere. This place is a gem! I come here to work at least once a week (great WiFi) and I feel so cared for and comfortable here. The food is hearty and delicious, the coffee is strong, and the hibiscus tea is somehow both iced and everything I want in a Fall beverage. You *must* try the baklava! Perhaps best of all is the light— there’s big windows and a huge sky light that make our rainy days feel cozy and sunny days bright and beautiful. Groups of 6-8 are also quickly accommodated.
