If you’re in Houston — especially near downtown or the convention center — and you love a great burger, Rodeo Goat is a must-go.

We had the Cheese Fries to start, and they were fantastic — crispy, loaded, and full of flavor.

The Bodacious Burger absolutely lived up to its name. Juicy, bold, and mouthwateringly good. I also tried one of the smash-style burgers on a return trip. It was still very good, but honestly not as memorable as the specialty burgers like the Bodacious. If you’re choosing, go with one of their signature creations.

Now let’s talk dessert. If you have even the slightest bit of room, get the Cow Patty (chocolate & pecan Texas sheet cake served warm with a scoop of ice cream). It is absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed it so much that we came back on a separate trip just for the dessert — the burger was basically the sidebar.

The atmosphere is lively and fun. The music is a little loud for my taste (I’m old, so no biggie), but there’s plenty of space. We went at a crazy busy time downtown with a party of eight and were still seated in about 45 minutes — honestly not bad at all.

Service was fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get.

Highly recommend. If you’re in the Houston area and want a great burger, don’t hesitate to check it out.

This burger spot is definitely a hidden gem in EaDo. One thing to note, they offer $3 mimosas on Saturdays and Sundays from 1–4 PM, which are honestly the perfect, practical brunch hours.

The burgers were amazing and very reasonably priced. Great flavor, cooked just right, and you definitely get your money’s worth. I also loved the rodeo theme, it adds such a fun Texas touch without feeling over the top.

Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

I love their burgers. The fries could be better—they were dry and lacked flavor. The space feels a bit tight, and they could use more room. The milkshakes are A1. The bartender could be more enthusiastic. It’s a busy place and definitely needs more parking.

Overall, it’s one of the few spots I’ve found that serves high-quality, delicious meat.
I would recommend a friend .

Coming from abroad, I had this huge craving for a burger with goat cheese in it. Lo and behold by coincidence I came across this unique burger place and my craving has been satisfied.

The place has a very friendly vibe to it, with an outdoor eating area and party games for gatherings. My favorite burger was the nanny goat and I recommend it if you like a nice cheesy taste to your burger (we did not get sides).

The menu stays interesting with unique combinations of different ingredients to give you a satisfying burger experience unlike any other typical burger joint you would find in America.

One of, if not the best burger I have had in Houston. Our table got 4 different burgers and each of us said the same thing.

Fries were amazing and so were the milkshakes.

Price is a bit on the high side but for the quality of food I would say it is worth it. We will be coming back.

Jordan was our server and fantastic. Efficient and courteous and handled my barrage of (somewhat funny to me) questions. Like how come when I ordered the battle of the burger the number didn’t change instantly? I didn’t know there are two burgers that are headed for head wearing a certain part of the month that are fighting their way to the menu. And delicious. I had gotten the truffle shuffle, which is a beef patty, Assaggio cheese, sautéed portobello with lemon garlic, shallots, herb, sour cream, and black trouble, mayo if you’re reading this, and it did not win the battle I am very sad because it was up against the RIP wheeler, which is a coffee rubbed beef, patty, blonde pepper bacon, Dr Pepper barbecue smoke Gouda frisée chuck wagon, mayo. (Whatever that is….) the truffle shuffle was great. Happy hour margaritas side of fries. Atmosphere is excellent. We chose inside with air conditioning and it was festive and music was great. Only sad we were not here during the Monday or Wednesday extra happy hour! 5/5 oh also we were so hungry I didn’t get photos of all the food before we ate it! Thank you!

I liked the atmosphere and vibe of the place. Our server was nice and conversational. We even had an easy time talking to the guests next to us so a very sociable experience. The burger was good (I got the saddle up). For 15 dollars, I thought the patties could be a little bigger, but it tasted great. 8 dollar beers could be more affordable, but I guess that’s the new normal.

Rodeo Goat is one of those burger spots that fully lives up to its reputation. I went on a sunny Sunday in January, and the place was absolutely slammed — packed inside and out, with people crowding the patio to soak up the weather. You can usually snag a seat along the bar, but the real magic is outside, where the energy feels loud, fun, and very “Houston weekend.”

The burgers are the star here. The menu leans creative without feeling gimmicky — big flavors, great toppings, and patties that actually taste like something. It’s the kind of place where you debate between two options, pick one, and immediately start planning to come back for the other. Fries and sides hold their own too, which isn’t always the case at burger joints.

The atmosphere is casual and upbeat, with friendly staff who keep things moving even when the place is buzzing. It’s an easy hang: good food, cold drinks, and a crowd that feels relaxed and social.

A great stop for anyone who wants a fun, lively patio and a burger that’s worth the hype.

Pretty random but cute and cool place to check out. We actually stopped into this place on our way to the Frostys bar and service was great! Menu a bit norm we got the fries no surprise and they were okay but I’d say next time I’d probably do queso instead of shredded cheese on top for more – pazazzz if that makes sense. Not sure of everything else as that’s all we ordered.

A nice down town restaurant with the small town feel. The beer selection was excellent and the burgers were amazing. Our fries tasted home made.
