My wife and I ate lunch and ordered the meatloaf meal with mashed potatoes, side salad, and the breakfast burger with cole slaw. Both entrees were really good, I especially enjoyed the breakfast burger, the hash brown casserole and the over easy egg put it over the top. I hope this new menu item will become a staple on the daily menu. Our server was Fawna H, she was very friendly and attentive. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered several questions that we had. We will be asking for Fawna on our next visit. The cashier, Chloe was very friendly and polite. The great food and excellent service by Fawna and Chloe made our lunch a very pleasant experience.

Just wanted to drop a review and tell you about the great experience I had with your staff. I placed a GrubHub order and was welcomed by Nolan. My order was not yet ready, but Nolan was very friendly and personable and we engaged in conversation while I was waiting. We talked about the road trip I was on and our hometowns. Nolan seemed very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, and I’m certain he has helped many of your customers navigate the area (I was absolutely lost, so Nolan was a great resource for me).
I went to use the bathroom, which was absolutely pristine. Upon exiting the bathroom, Jessica just so happened to be walking up to the front counter with my order. She was very friendly and personable as well, and my order was hot and fresh when she brought it up.
I would like to further explain that I am giving a 5 star rating for all categories because the food was absolutely delicious and the nostalgic atmosphere is also what drives me back to Cracker Barrel. I may even grab a carryout before I hit the road tomorrow because of how well I was treated by your staff!

Multiple servers were helping the table next to me waiting on them hand and foot while I was ignored. Finally got a drink but no straw. Took forever to even order. If I wasn’t so hungry I’d walk out. The drink came in a dirty glass too. Still here waiting…
Waitress asked if I wanted my cornbread early, I said, “Yes please, I starving!”. They never came at all. Found multiple chunks of pork or something in my dumplings. This is also the first time the side came slopped in the dumpling bowl.

I visited this Cracker Barrel today and it’s in a very convenient location right next to my hotel. The management had some questions about my service animal when we came in, but they seem to be very knowledgeable and we were seated quickly. Our server was able to get my drink and our meal out to us very quickly. I was thoroughly impressed and how fast we were served. The food was delicious and tasted great in addition to being very hot it was the perfect dinner for a cool Kentucky rainy evening. I’m so glad this restaurant is right here because I’ll definitely be back for another great visit during our trip.

We travel a lot and all of the Cracker Barrel’s we go to the food is not good. Cold and like it’s been sitting for a while. We are from Princeton WV and even ours at home is usually never good, so we don’t go. You all have a great staff, clean restaurant and awesome food! We really enjoyed it! Thank you!

It was not crowded, the music was a little loud for the lack of customers. The wait staff was extremely attentive, the bus boy was quick and efficient. And all of the employees that we encountered were wonderfully nice. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. The store was very well organized and not cluttered. Plenty of room to walk and browse without knocking stuff over. Some items did lack pricing.

Cracker Barrel brings the comforts of southern cookin’ and down home hospitality in a restaurant chain. Founded in 1969 in Tennessee and now spreading with 660 locations in 44 states. Traditional floor plan where one must traverse through the gift shop like an obstacle course to reach the hostess station and glimpse daylight of the dining room. Never grasped this concept but I am certain that retail sales come into play. I have no interest in this ritual of shopping but have at times lost my spouse to this consumerism lure. Bless her heart. Open dining room with heavy wood chairs and tables, large hearth fireplace and a hodgepodge of old time signs, household items and antique memorabilia collectability arranged on the walls.
The Campfire Shrimp Skillet was the menu choice of the evening. Grilled shrimp and andouille sausage sautéed in a buttery broth with whole red russet potatoes and campfire seasoned sweet corn on the cob sealed in foil to lock in the flavor. A side of their own hand rolled, flaky buttermilk biscuits. Presentation pleasing, service acceptable and food commendable.

This Cracker Barrel was consistently good once upon a time, but not anymore. This location now is consistently bad! I have been coming here for years and almost always left full and happy. However, the last 3 times have been awful. I kept coming back, and giving them another chance, thinking that they must have been short staffed or something. Today was definitely our worst experience ever and will be the last time we spend any more money here. Things are expensive everywhere, and it’s hard to justify spending that much money for a bad meal and a bad experience. Tonight we were seated at the table behind the hostess stand and next to the kitchen. We sat for almost 20 minutes before anyone came and took our drink orders. The phone rang nonstop the whole time were there, and I do mean nonstop. I asked our server what was going on with the phone? I felt like I was going to lose my mind! We could not even carry on a conversation. I had the Sunday Fried Chicken Dinner and it was so overcooked that you could barely chew it. My wife had the grilled Chicken Tenderloin Dinner, and she stated that her food was cold. My son had the kids Shrimp Dinner. We got on him because he wasn’t eating any of his shrimp and he told us that he couldn’t because they were gross. I tasted one and he wasn’t lying. They tasted very fishy like they were old, so we told him just to leave them. Our server never brought us any refills or asked how our food was. In her defense, she did have on a rising star apron, showing that she was new. When I went upfront to pay the bill the, man behind the counter asked me how everything was, so I told him absolutely terrible and he told me that he was sorry to hear that and then proceeded to ask for the total of the bill. As I was paying, the phone continued to ring nonstop with no one answering it, so I asked him why they were not answering it, and told him about how annoying it was for us to have to hear that for our entire meal. He stated that it was probably people calling for to go orders and that he didn’t have time to answer it. I told him if they weren’t going to answer it , that they should at least turn the ringer off upfront as to not disturb everyone. He said thanks for the feedback and went on about his business. Whoever is running this location and making the decisions is running it into the ground! Customers will only let you let them down a couple of times before they will give up on you and never come back.
