What a cool little place named after The Beatles. Abbey Road Pub & Restaurant is located at 203 22nd Street, Virginia Beach, VA.

We were immediately greeted with a warm smile and reception upon entering. We were seated and handed the menu.

We ordered a Crab Cake Sandwich and Seafood Alfredo.

The food came out within minutes. Hot, fresh, and tasty looking. The Crab Cake sandwich was ordered with Onion Rings. And the Seafood Alfredo had a Side Salad with Ranch Dressing for an additional cost.

Waitress did fantastic job checking on us and bringing fresh refills.

Overall a very nice place to hang your hat and enjoy friends and food.

Thank you Abbey Road for a great meal experience.

Super excited to finally try this spot, I was expecting more pub style menu but I was incredibly impressed with all the different drinks and they named them after Beatles songs. I had the blackbird. It is a creamy raspberry hazelnut drink and delicious! I ordered the reuben bc the server said they did have a great one. She was right! Hands down my second favorite reuben of all the places I have tried one. I will absolutely be back for that! I was excited for leftovers on this one. My husband got a chicken sandwich and it was delicious too. Everything was presented well too, very appealing visually and in flavor. The Beatles theme is fantastic! I love it. Please play only Beatles though, current music in that setting felt awkward. The Beatles songs with all the decor is what truly makes it fun.

Love the Beatles theme. Place is nicely set up with a limited food menu upper deck. We came in November so not busy even on a Friday at dinner time. The parking spots are narrow and not much room to back out so maybe if you can, back into your spot. We had the lobster mac and cheese, crab dip, and the steamed shrimp. We are from New England and have fresh seafood frequently. I would have loved to taste more crab in the dip and even though there was lots of lobster in the mac and cheese it was overpowered by the cheese taste. I would have rather seen the seafood added after the dishes were cooked to have a bolder taste of both. And the shrimp could be cooked in more old bay instead of it just being sprinkled on top after. Glad we stopped but will not be having these dishes again. And debit cards count as credit cards for the surcharge according to our waitress.

You don’t have to be a Beatles fan to enjoy Abbey Road Pub! While it is festooned with Beatles albums and memorabilia, there is more to this pub. The fried flounder Reuben sandwich special was excellent, seafood gumbo hearty and pasta primavera tasty! Our server (name on check “Pirate”) was super friendly and energetic. If you’re looking for a quick bite or drink in Virginia Beach, check out this place! Huzzah!

As someone with celiac I was blown away by the selection of things that were or could be made gluten free. The staff was very knowledgeable and communicative. We had the calamari, potato skins, fried shrimp, jerk chicken, and fries flounder. They have dedicated fryers.

8/2/25 – came here on a saturday around 7 pm, they do have small parking lot right next to the restaurant, we were lucky and they had two spots. We ended up going to the second floor area, so lucys. Our group sat at the bar and then some migrated to tables. I got the lobster bisque which was good but little thicker than I would like but flavor was great. My friend got the ceviche and it was good, comes with chips. Few of us got the burgers, all of the burgers were cooked above the temperature they preferred, but still good in flavor and not dry. I got the blacken fish tacos that comes with rice and beans. It was good and liked the salsa on them. Our service/bar tender was great! Always on top of things and dealt with our a bit louder group. She was super nice and amazing service. It’s nice to be on the second floor and oversee the street. The sunset was pretty. Great place to hangout and get decent food. Also the price for the food and drinks were great. Definitely recommend to stop by and check it out.

Service was good. The food and food selection was the reason why I felt like we did not get any value for our money. The sweet potato fries were burnt on both orders and the burgers were not good either. The only thing that this place has going for it is the atmosphere because their food is not the reason you should visit this place. I would only Come back for a drink, never for the food.

Abbey Road is a Beatles themed pub filled with nice decor and memorabilia. It definitely has a vibe to it.

We went during happy hour, which made it worth it. The lobster mac and cheese was surprisingly better than I was expecting. The Sampler Platter is your basic run of the mill bar/pub food.

They have an extensive beer list as well as spirits/cocktails. Service was quick and attentive but didn’t feel entirely personable. The other patrons appeared to be in good spirits, everyone seemed happy.

We were seated right away during happy hour. I do not know how busy it gets, but there appeared to be ample seating/tables that I can’t imagine there’d be much of a wait at busy times.

They do have a nice pool table with good cue sticks, but each game is $2. I’m not sure what the going rate is around here, but it seemed a little high.

There is plenty of on-site parking available, which is free.

Food was excellent and fresh. Our waitress was very polite and on top of everything. My wife has a Gluten and Dairy allergy and the staff was very knowledgeable about what she could and could not have. I couldn’t care less about the Beatles. We will be back for sure!
