SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!! First of all they make you pay before you can sit, thats already a bad sign. The food was cold and taste plain. I complained before I even started to eat and asked for a refund so I can eat somewhere else and they told me they dont do refunds. So I ended up eating and before I could even finish the 1st plate I was already in the bathroom, speaking of the nasty, dirty broken bathrooms- the toilet seats were broken, trash everywhere and for some reason the 2 of the 3 stalls were locked probably from being broken.

The food is not bad but is not great either. I could not taste any asian flavor at all. They have a lot lot of choices. Price is not bad. The parking lot looks bad. Abandoned. The inside looks old like they just took over a previous restaurant. I would not go there again.

I just rolled out of Fujian Grand China Buffet at 8709 N I-35, and I swear I’m now part of the furniture in that place. I didn’t just eat — I feasted like a king who hadn’t seen food in a week. And let me tell you… it was GLORIOUS.

The seafood? Absolutely divine. The fish was so tender and flavorful, it practically melted in my mouth. I kept thinking, “How did they make it this good?!” Every bite was a little miracle.

Then came the salad — not just any salad, but a fresh, crisp masterpiece with juicy tomatoes, crunchy cucumbers, and the surprise MVP: chickpeas! Who knew chickpeas could be this satisfying?

And don’t get me started on the desserts — light, sweet, and somehow comforting, like a hug from your favorite grandma who also happens to be a five-star pastry chef.

Honestly, I smiled with every bite. If they had a couch, I’d have stayed the night.

They say every great adventure starts with a bold step. Mine started with a tug on a door missing its handle. That should’ve been the sign to turn back. But no, like a moth to a crusty, heat-lamped flame, I pressed on.

Inside, the ambiance was what I’d call “Grand re-re-re-re-opening” You had to pay before sitting, which in hindsight was genius. Because once you saw the buffet, the instinct to walk out became overwhelming. Prepayment was less a business model and more a hostage negotiation tactic.

I grabbed a plate, coated in complimentary slime, and approached the trough of despair.

Every dish had the same flavor: expired sadness with a hint of despair. The unlabeled mystery meat was cold and questionable, some of the sauces started to crust and form a protective layer, and I swear the crab ragoons where 90% regret, 10% imitation crab goo. One bite and my taste buds tried to unionize.

After trying one bite of each offering like a sad little tasting menu from hell, I gave up and sat back… defeated. I gazed into the abyss. The abyss served me cold lo mein.

Thankfully the pre-packaged fortune cookie were pretty fire.

1 out of 5 stars. Gained no nourishment. Only trauma.

The food was not good at all.
Almost $40 for me and my husband and the food look like it has been out since the place opened this morning.

Everything was just old, nothing fresh and so many empty pans on the buffet line.

I’ve been to some good and some really bad all you can eat Chinese buffets. This one was actually really good for the price meaning good value. Lots of selections including a large variety of salad bar offerings which is unusual for a Chinese style buffet.food well cooked. Don’t come here if you’re looking for a gourmet. This is your good value a y c e

Found a roach in my food and the cashier was not friendly border line nasty. She refused at first to give me a refund and we had literally just arrived, washed our hands, and hadn’t even touched the drinks. Nothing on the buffet was labeled. It was bad experience all together. This would have been a little more discrete had the cashier not been so rude even from the start as if Im not spending my money.
