I had a great experience with my husband at Outback. It was my first time here and immediately when we walked in, another host asked if we needed a high chair and was quick to get it for us. That’s amazing customer service right there! The man who brought us our food and dessert named Fritz was super friendly and kept thanking us for dining in. Our waitress was just as polite and informed us of the menu well. My burger was delicious, and my husbands steak was honestly better than Longhorns or Saltgrasses steak. The Aussie cheese fries we had as an appetizer were great as well, very fresh and loaded. The mashed potatoes were honestly very tasty as well; and so was the Mac & cheese. I will definitely be back and can’t wait to tell my family how impressed I was with this restaurant and their great staff!

Ambiance: like a Chili’s but for steak. Very good menu layout and pictures 8/10
Drinks: Boomarita. 4 seperate margaritas. Everything but the classic was extremely sweet and sugary 4/10
Appetizers: Blooming onion, it had a Cajun spice like Popeyes to it. Easy to pull the onion pieces out. Pretty good. Salads – standard. 7/10
Mains: Ahi Tuna – nice pepper crust, odd gelatinous texture, but overall good. Sirloin was cooked medium and was tasty and mashed potatoes were standard. 6.5/10
Desert: Cheesecake. Felt like it was shipped from some factory but it was darn good. 8/10
Overall price: $66.25
Overall rating: 6.7/10 fun for the occasional steak

From the time we walked in everything went perfect. I had a pretty rough evening and was a little agitated at no one fault truthfully. The folks at the door greeted me and my daughter with a smile. They sat us in a small booth where she could plug her phone in to charge. Bonus points … Our server was Hunter. Awesome guy. Truly on point with his customer service skills. We ordered Coconut Shrimp as an appetizer. Me and my daughter then shared a perfect grilled Delmonico Ribeye with Mac and Cheese for the Main Entrée. It was an absolute perfect dinner from start to finish. I have never been more satisfied with an Outback Steakhouse as I was tonight. I would definitely reccomend this place to anyone. And the next time I am in San Antonio, I will definitely come back again.

Outback! Shrimp on the barbie? Yeah they got it. Blooming onion , yup delicious. Service? Was great. Busy? Yes it was. Refills ? Yes I got them. Overall, 5 stars. Lunch today at outback steakhouse was amazing, I ordered the new York strip and it is full of flavor, and is very delicious, new York strip steak is one of my favorite steaks too. Their sweet tea was also perfect I was very happy, our server Barbie is super kind and very attentive.

I ordered Prime Rib 16 oz I received via DoorDash a RARE Rare prime rib and it was very TOUGH. I ordered medium. It’s Outback not caring about a $55 order which I should not have done online. I have MS and needed delivery. In person, I would have complained. Something that expensive is a treat for me. NOT An every day expense! I did call busy. I did take a picture.

What a fantastic dinner at Outback! Shoutout to our server Barbie—she was genuinely attentive, friendly, and on top of everything from the moment we sat down. She anticipated our needs, kept the table clear, and even suggested the perfect sides to go with our steaks. Whenever she was busy, the support team member, Jr, jumped in quickly and helpfully—no waiting around. The floor manager, Heather, was equally impressive; she was walking the floor, checking on tables, and made a point to ask how our meal was going. Her attention to detail really elevated the whole visit. Great food and even better service—highly recommend!

Decided to try Outback after attending a high school reunion there a year ago and I’m so happy we did! Although we’ve lived here 40+ years and tend to eat out a lot, for some unknown reason we never really got tempted to try it. Well their ribeye’s, salmon and strip are the reasons we’ve continued to go…almost every Sunday! Consistently prepared the way we request it EVERY TIME. Salads are always fresh; even the salad dressings are like homemade. We switch out the sides but the baked potato and broccoli are, again, fresh and prepared well every time. And no…I’m not a friend or related or affiliated in any way…now that I read this back it sure sounds like it! We also have a server that we ask for when we go…Barbie! She was the one who served us on our 1st visit and since she’s always working on Sunday we always request to be seated in her section. She and the others are always professional and gracious, and of course Barbie knows exactly how we like our steaks and salmon prepared! I sure hope none of this changes. It’s really nice going somewhere you know you’ll enjoy a great meal.
