So today, I ordered a rib snack meal. It came with 4 bones, two sides and a corn muffin. Lmao , I should’ve saved my money or went somewhere else! I ordered turkey dressing, candied yams and fries. The ribs were meatless! MEATLESS! Meaning, it was NO meat on them frail bones! The cornbread dressing had to much sage, not enough soups/broth to keep it moist and a pound of salt. You don’t add salt to dressing ♀️ The dressing smells just like seasoning salt And I’ve never had dressing with carrots in it. Them yams One, they were canned and had to be at least two days old! My fries were hot and the BBQ sauce was on point! Moral of the story, just because you can make one dish really good, don’t mean you should open a restaurant! This was my third visit and each time I’ve only been satisfied with the BBQ sauce!

I ordered Door Dash because a coworker said they were so good. Well. The ribs were hard like they had been cooked over a week ago. They tried to mask the burn on them with icky sauce. That made them worse. The fried corn cooked last week and my dietician friend said they came from a can. Greens and macaroni and cheese were spicy greasy. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY Like we did. I think they do that to Door Dash customers. It’s always a trick to get your hard earned money

So unfortunately I got (and still am currently) sick from this place. I haven’t ate here in about 2 years but I used to love their bbq sauce and sides. The other day I ordered a rib and shrimp dinner during the snow storm, 28 minute delivery is the real reason why I ordered… got it. Chicken skin was tough with a pull to it, it seems a lot of the chicken was unevenly cooked. I started to eat it the n stopped. Ate my shrimp which I presume was fine. My potatoe salad,…..WAS FUNKY. Like had a weird after taste similar to like maybe pork fat. Idk it wasn’t right. Baked beans were fine but by the time I got to that I started getting nauseous. I got a refund from Uber Eats for just my meal but the fact that it’s two days later and I’m still sick throwing up stomach gurgling…..I had to write a review and unfortunately I won’t be coming back.

Luxury Chaos
stopped by for lunch today. this place has been on my radar for months so i was super excited to visit. i got the rib and chicken dinner with mac and yams. the chicken and mac were the star of the show. soooooo good. if i ever come back, that’s what i will be getting. The yams were decent, not super sweet so that can be a good thing for some people. the ribs weren’t good at all. they were so tough, i splashed bbq sauce all over my hoodie trying to tear the ribs apart. speaking of that, i can’t understand why they would give me an uncut slab of ribs.. like was i supposed to have a knife casually in the car with me to cut food at any given time? The ribs were 0/10 but that mac and cheese are a winner winner chicken dinner!!

Didn’t care for it. But edible. Food was dry. The sauce is a no. The service seemed overcomplicated. Order in a window then move down 5 feet to another person. Weird. Everything about the place was unbalanced. And they are not cheap, pricey actually. So for those reasons it’s a strong no.

As you’re walking into the building , loiters sitting in their cars at the entry of the business asking if you want to buy perfume or oils like you couldn’t fix yourself to be somewhere else!!! SMH
Food 1out of 5 For starters I ordered two chicken wing dinners I came to $40.28 never again !!! chicken wings were deep fried an seasoning on top no breading no flavour I asked for barbecue sauce on the side got zero sauce!! WINGS ARE STRAIGHT TRASH !! yams and mac & cheese were my two sides the yams taste it like they poured straight white sugar ALL OVER THEM and boiled to mush,,,,WTH!? Just awful!! The mac & cheese was overpowered by too too too much garlic way too much garlic. I don’t know who was cooking yesterday September 29, 2025 but Lord knows they need to go back to their kitchen cause that stuff was awful.

RUDE ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS Especially for the people that are physically standing there the young girl that was answering the phone and delegating the food could not do two things at once She was partially serving me yet having a full-blown conversation on the phone, mostly invested on the phone took my money and held it in her hand for a solid four minutes before giving me my change or my food, she held the door that allows me to grab my food it open on her side, but because she wasn’t paying attention let alone trying to serve me correctly so I can move on with my day, she was engaged in conversation on the phone !!!! I was gonna tip her and decided absolutely not. Thank goodness I didn’t as my barbeque sauce was missing for both my meals. TRASH SERVICE //

I HANG UP. I WAS CONFUSED WHAT WAS GOING ON……I CALLED BACK. HE PICKS UP IMMEDIATELY AND SAYS YOU HUNG UP NOW YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE BACK OF THE LINE now more than 5 people ahead of you !!! I order rib tips and two orders of so called fried corn, yams and peach cobbler and rib tips. Worst meal I ever had. Let start with the fried corn since I order an extra side of it. Who put carrots, and other stuff in fried corn which wasn’t fried. Rib tips salty, peach cobbler tastes like it came out of a can. Smh the best this was the yams. Then I called and talked to the manager he told me I should have asked what’s in it. I know when you say fried corn it’s corn not corn carrots and what ever else was in there considering I’m allergic to carrots. He tells me I can bring it back like I told him I don’t have a car and then he start getting smart. Lord knows it better be glad god is working on me or he would have got some choose word. Frfr. The attitude cause you want to try some new stuff and you getting bad reviews. You get mad. Boy bye your food is nasty. I use to go there all the time but know I remember why I stopped. Went here because it’s close to my house and rated one of the best bbq. My fiance and i were extremely disappointed. The service was great but the food was terrible. Smothered pork chops were cold and not smothered just a dab of sauce on them. Instant mashed potatoes not real. Macaroni was worse then boxed. Potatoes salad was more like soup with very little potatoes. Rib tips were dry. And everything was like warm borderline cold, I like less then 5 min away, so it wasn’t because of the distance. It was way over priced for the quality and quantity of food. I wont be going here ever again.
