When the cornerstone for Barley Creek Brewing Company was laid in 1792, it marked the start of what would become one of the most historic buildings in America. The building would eventally grow to include 132 rooms, 35 bathrooms, 28 fireplaces, a tennis court, swimming pool, movie theatre and bowling alley. Oh, wait… that’s the White House. Hey, we’re sure the White House is a nice place and all, but we’re just saying… we’d rather be at Barley Creek. Okay, here’s the official history… On December 15, 1995, Eileen and Trip Ruvane opened Barley Creek Brewing Company, the first microbrewery in the Pocono Mountains since Prohibition. Breakfast – Lunch and Dinner – Check out our new 1818 Deli and Catering Company.
Microbrewery known for pub fare & a seasonal outdoor bar area with bocce, Wiffle ball & horseshoes.

The food was delicious here. When my wife and I came in and saw the menu we both wanted to get burgers. But after speaking with our waiter Daniel, he recommended some items which I decided to try. And he did not disappoint us. Great tasting food at this location and the portion sizes were great. The Beer and Mimosa flights were also fantastic!
Food/Drink Items:
Beer & Mimosa Flight
Cranes Wicked Chip Dip
Dip & Drip Burger
Pork Shank
I would definitely recommend visiting this place when coming to the Poconos.

We DoorDashed dinner here and the food was so different than what the photos online looked like. Beware!
We got the french onion burger missing lettuce and tomato. Not sure why it was missing since their menu says it comes with. The fries were terrible and looked like we got crumbs? The fries were hard and thin. Again, Did not look like what the photos look like.
Pizza was $17 and was not the same photo they had on DoorDash. it was the size of a personal pizza from wawa. It’s listed as traditional not personal. DoorDash had a photo of a whole pie.
Overall the taste was fine, we got a brownie sundae that probably was the best thing we got.
It was overall disappointing to say the least. They need to do a better job at quality checking their food before they send it out.

The vibes were really cute there and it was full of people and very lively. But the food prices to the quality were not well matched. My burger was decent but the cheese steak (see photo below) was an absolute joke. It was so thin and had barely anything in it. We did enjoy the fire outside for a few minutes on the way out.

Stopped here for an early dinner on a Tuesday. Our server, I believe her name was Alex, did a great job. The food was all very good. We had the nachos, a pulled pork sandwich, a cheesesteak and fries, and the French onion soup. We also had the creek light and one of their cocktails on tap – Both were very good! We would definitely come back And would recommend to friends

Super good stop around the camelback area. The place is big but it doesn’t feel big enough for the amount of people going there.
Unfortunately we didn’t reserve but the bar had some space so we were able to get our food and drinks.
The food was amazing. The ribs were so so tender and the right amount of sweet.
The service was a little slow. Like we needed to get up and walk to them to get our orders, I also saw a good amount of tables open but people were still waiting to be seated.
I still recommend the place, just maybe reserve if you want to sit at a table, unless you don’t mind waiting.

We were vacationing in Camelback and before heading home, we decided to have lunch at this place. There was plenty of parking. The place was pleasant and nicely decorated. There were four of us, my husband and I and our two children. We ordered a classic pizza, chicken wings, my son ordered a burger with fries, my daughter ordered a hot dog with fries and orange juice. I ordered a small oatmeal stout. The prices were above average, probably because of the nearby resort. The food wasn’t bad, but far from delicious; the fries were overcooked and dry, and the hot dog was also dry. I liked the beer. The orange juice was also tasty. The service was normal.

A Perfect Fall Evening at Barley Creek!
We ended up at Barley Creek by complete chance during an impromptu trip to the Pocono Mountains, and it turned out to be the highlight of our evening! It was rainy, the sun was setting, and most nearby attractions were closing, but this place completely lifted our mood.
The ambiance was beautiful — cozy patio, bonfire, and festive Halloween vibes. We tried their Pumpkin Ale, which had a sweet cinnamon flavor and sparkle on top — such a perfect seasonal touch! We liked it so much we ordered it again with our food.
The chicken tenders, fish and chips, wings, and chicken sandwich were all excellent — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The staff and especially the bartender were super friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better.
Honestly, we weren’t planning anything special, but Barley Creek turned our random stop into a memorable night. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area!

We were at a conference in Camelback and decided to visit this place upon recommendation for dinner. The restaurant was decorated for Halloween, definitely super fun with photo ops on outdoor benches with skeletons. The inside was also decorated for Halloween. We had the nachos appetizers and drinks. We also ordered a flight with 4 different beers to try bc there were so many to choose from. All beers are brewed there as well as some vodka and something else, I can’t remember. The beers were really good. We all ordered burghers, they were double burgers. The menu does say to smashed burger patty so we thought they would be thinner so just keep in mind it is a big burger. The burgers were tasty as well as the french fries that came with them. The total bill with tip was about $150 which included three alcoholic drinks, one flight of four beers, a nacho appetizer, three Burger meals with fries and one side of fries. Are we choices very pleasant and helpful when it came to choosing which beers we should have on our flight and she seemed to be very knowledgeable of the different beers, tastes and what was popular. If I am ever in the area again this is definitely a place I would come back to or recommend to others. Family-friendly, good food and reasonable prices.

Great place with great ambience. We went during Halloween season and oh god they decorated very well, I was amazed. It’s the perfect place for hanging out with family or friends and it is near by Camelback resort. Their In-house beers are so special and refreshing. Prices are reasonable too. Must visit place.

A great brewery/ distillery located proximal to Camelback mountain. This was a great spot to visit after a day on the slopes! The beer flight was delicious, special shout out to the dark lagers! We also got the fried pickles, the pickles were super crispy and salty, and paired well with the habanero cranberry jelly! I just wish there were more pickles!
