Took my family to eat dinner here in Schertz. Even tho it was crowded we only waited 10 minutes for a group of 7. Food was great and service was awesome! So thankful they were open on Dec. 29th!! We will definitely go back and spread the word about the good food and fair prices! Oh and they also do breakfast and lunch!

Food was ok. Not the greatest but for the elevated prices, I’d expect better.
Service was VERY lacking. There appeared to be only one waitress helping any of the customers while 4 or 5 other waitresses stood around in the hallway to the kitchen.
The atmosphere was good. Quiet with Mexican music playing softly is what I heard. Very nice.
Overall, ok but I would’ve expected more.

I’ve been wanting to go to one of the Garcia’s locations after I saw it on the Michelin guide. I have to say, it was good but nothing special. The street tacos were the best thing we ordered. The chips are tasty and the salsa is good, but not the best. Hubby got Tres Garcias and it was mediocre. My cousin got the cilantro enchiladas and we expected a lighter green sauce but it was actually a heavier cream sauce. My other cousin got the Garcia Deluxe, good food but nothing great. I do recommend the asada tacos, they were good!

Stopped here for lunch per recommendation by a local. People waiting to be seated was an encouraging sign which turned out to be correct. Had chicken chipotle and chicken schertz. Both were delicious. When we were leaving the place was packed. Thank you for great food!

We recently visited Garcia Mexican Restaurant and started with chips and salsa. Always a good way to begin. We also ordered some guacamole to go with our chips. While the guac wasn’t bad, it tasted more like store-bought avocados from a bag, lacking fresh veggies and that authentic homemade feel.
For my main dish, I tried their special Picadillo Loco with a chalupa, and it was really flavorful and satisfying. My husband enjoyed the Fiesta Plate, which included an enchilada, chalupa, flauta, rice, and beans. He seemed to really like it.
One thing we appreciate is how convenient it is to have a quick, nearby option for Mexican food. However, the menu could use some improvement. The font and layout were pretty squeezed and small, making it difficult to read.
Overall, a decent spot for a quick meal with tasty options. Just needs improvement with the menu. We’ll definitely be back, though!

My Daughter and I dined in for the first time yesterday. My first visit was to pick up a to go order of delicious pork chops. We beat the crowd and were seated immediately. There is also an outdoor eating area. Our server and the rest of the staff were friendly and attentive! This was the first time I had a combo beef and chicken fajita plate prepared without bell peppers, but it was also delicious! I also added 6 shrimp for a small amount of money. The house dip and chips were very tasty with a great balance of spiciness. The molten cake was so decadent and yummy! It was so relaxing, and I really liked the art on the walls. They are also open daily with the hours posted on this website. We will definitely visit there again!

Been here a few times already. The service is amazing. The chips and salsa are my favorite because the chips are crispy and warm. The chicken flans beef fajitas are both delicious and the bean and cheese tacos and carne guisada are both amazing. The tortillas and hot and fresh. We also checked out the bar which has a new fun look and great service. I 10000% will be coming back and recommend giving it a try as I know you will be back.

I came here for a lunch with a group of women on the Women’s Council of Realtors. We had a good sized group, 10 of us. Our waitress was amazing! I had the tortilla soup and oh my gosh yesss! So good! I usually take pictures of my food but it was so good I didn’t have a chance to! Definitely going back – they also have daily specials for a great price! My tortillas soup was small and was $10 and it comes with a small dish of rice and tortillas.

Great service and a great selection of mexican food. Definitely have to come with patience, this place is always full. Food is worth waiting if you have the time. I really enjoy the enchiladas and they remind me of my child hood neighborhood. The whole family loves the food here. I have never heard them complain when we get a chance to visit Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant.

Their chips and salsa are the perfect starter—crispy, fresh, and just the right amount of spice to get your taste buds dancing. Then there are the enchiladas, which arrive at your table warm and creamy, enveloped in a rich sauce that makes every bite a delight. And let’s not forget the chicken tenders; they’re not just an afterthought here—they come out hot, perfectly battered, and surprisingly delicious for a Mexican restaurant so you will be sure to find something that everyone will enjoy.
