The atmosphere was inviting, with classics playing overhead. We had the bruscetta, chicken piccitta, and sausage ziti. Everything was wonderful! The owner/chef came out and talked to us. He was personable with a lot of flair. Wichita finally has a great Italian restaurant. Please go eat here. You won’t regret the experience.

Oliver’s Little Italy is a warm and inviting family restaurant. From the moment I entered, it was like entering an Italian Mama’s kitchen. The garlic bread and the spices greet you as you walk past an open kitchen. The tile floors, even in January, reminded me of a courtyard in Tuscany. The staff was courteous and efficient. While the restaurant is getting established, some beverage selections were limited, but the gracious staff aptly apologized and suggested suitable alternatives. The first course, caesar salad, was fresh, crisp and tasteful. The main dish was an ample serving, very in mind with family style dining. The capers and lemon butter sauce were perfectly matched. The chicken breast was well seasoned and moist. The Caramel Italian Soda was a good match to the main course. I passed on dessert, but the tira misu served others looked appealing.
I would recommend this restaurant, and will be returning to dine there again soon. This is a family restaurant that Wichita should keep around.
