I highly recommend partaking of the Blind Tiger’s phenomenal cuisine. I had to take a business trip to Shreveport and incorrectly assumed northern Louisiana would not have real Cajun food (eating is the highlight of all my trips). This could not have been further from the truth. The Cajun fare was so extensive I had to try it all.
Bonus was the great service from Perry. She made the experience complete!

My wife has raved about this place due to dining here with some coworkers while traveling. We stopped by on our way home from Colorado Springs.
For appetizers we ordered some Fried Mushrooms, Boudim Balls, and some Fried Shrimp w/ remoulade. We shared an entree which was the Crawfish Combo Platter – fried crawfish tails, crawfish Etoufee, Dirty Rice, and Cajun Street Corn. The only complaint was the fried crawfish tails were overcooked – tough as beef jerky.

Unique old city feel, looks to maybe be original from when it was built. Service was quick and was checked on often. Food was average. Fried fish was cooked correct. Crawfish etouffee had a bitter taste. Red beans were over salted. Salad was good, the ranch dressing was the highlight.

Amazing food! I had pecan crusted catfish and didn’t leave a crumb! Spicy but not overdone- but I love spicy. BF had seafood sampler with so much!

We rolled into The Blind Tiger for a late lunch, and left totally blown away — not just by the food, but the entire experience. Every single thing we ordered was packed with flavor and made with real love. It’s the kind of meal you think about long after it’s over.
We started with the fried mushrooms, which were perfectly crispy and totally addictive — the kind of appetizer that disappears fast. Then came a spread that seriously delivered: red beans and rice that tasted like home cooking at its finest, hearty and well-seasoned; cornbread that was golden, moist, and just sweet enough; crispy potato wedges that were dangerously good; and crispy, flaky catfish that melted in your mouth.
We also tried two killer sandwiches — the Blind Tiger Burger (a beast in the best way — juicy, bold, unforgettable) and the French Chicken Sandwich, which somehow managed to be both indulgent and refined.
Honestly, every bite was amazing. The flavors, the portions, the quality — top notch across the board. We loved it so much we even walked out with a Blind Tiger t-shirt to remember the meal.
If you’re anywhere near, don’t miss this place. Come hungry — and maybe leave with a souvenir too.

What amazing food. Everyone even the other guests were so friendly. We talked to some regulars and along with the staff recommended some great options for food.
It was my favorite experience in Shreveport. We were down for graduation and it was just amazing.

Superb food with an awesome friendly staff. The mush puppies in particular were amazing! Our waitress Megan was very attentive and friendly, and this place has an overall very historic and established atmosphere.

I honestly have no clue how to start this. My wife and I have been here plenty of times before, and the food is usually okay. It was never great but okay enough to stop by if we found ourselves hungry near downtown Shreveport. This time though we got served a toe sized, uncooked, RAW, hairy, flabby, chunk of pork belly in our Red Beans and Rice. Now… pork belly CAN be added to this dish…. but never uncooked, hairy and raw. It was flippen disgusting. This was all after we returned our salad because the lettuce was wilted and the chef came out to apologize about the salad. He even agreed that it was wilted and not up to standard. However the chef did not come out to apologize about the slab of uncooked, hairy pork skin. After the disgusting experience we had with the hairy chunk of raw pork meat; we left. Absolutely gross.

Total banger of a meal. Catfish what’s a tender you could barely pick it up, and the flaky pecan crust a perfect pairing. Wedge cut fries were light and crispy and not dents and gross like so many other restaurants. Definitely great food and when you consider how little it cost, it’s an absolute win

Was looking for some good canjun food and it did not disappoint. I got some of the blackened tilapia with rice & fried corn kn the cob. The food all around was great I shared some of the cheesecake & bread pudding with my wife. It was some of the best dessert I had had in a while.
