Absolutely phenomenal BBQ. The tri-tip sandwich? Best in the Bay. Tender, smoky, and unforgettable. That smoked jalapeño sauce hits hard in the best way. Served out of a character-packed urban farm, this neighborhood gem oozes good vibes. Go support these legends.

Live oak kitchen never disappoints! Doug and Ariana are killin it with their California heritage barbecue. We tried the tri-tip, the chicken with their signature rub, the beans, and honestly… every bite was perfect.
The tri-tip is Smoky, tender, and full of flavor. Talk about melt in your mouth!
The chicken had a nice crust from the delicious rub.
I even liked the beans! And I’m not much of a beans guy especially when it comes to most BBQ style.
Everything tasted homemade and you can tell it was cooked with care- which is what you can expect from this family BBQ.
Everything tasted like an executive chef-owned kitchen (because it is!).
From the seasoning to the portion sizes and excellent service- It’s rare to find that mix of great food and home town hospitality.
